I just checked Badzine's new dummy olympic qualifying list and you can all notice tough battles among HK team and Singapour Team.
Just take a look :
19 CHAN Yan Kit 10 36166.03 HKG 1-IN
20 LEE Yen Hui Kendrick 10 36142.43 SIN 1-IN
21 SUSILO Ronald 10 36135.92 SIN 2-OUT
22 NG Wei 10 36084.02 HKG 2-OUT
Ronald saw his place taken by teammate Lee and Ng Wei was taken his place by Chan yan Kit .. :rolleyes:
I was just wondering how players react, when his own teammate, and good friends is taking your only chance to participate in the OG ... Ok people will say, no lah they're Teammate since ages so they all know how to deal with it and are happy for the other one .. etc etc But if this case happens just right before the deadline on the 1st may ( or april i don't remember ahaha ) ... I'm sure, he won't start hating him but he'll feel frustrated and he may feel half happy for his teammate, moreover when he took his chance by only 1 or 2 places in the world ranking ... does anybody know a similar case ? or any quotes from a players who had undergo this situation ???
You have a similar situation in women's single where Zhou Mi ( new comer in the HKG ) took Yip Pui Yin's place :
