CCC Badminton: Training@MSAC Saturdays 5:00pm-7:00pm

Greetings,

Welcome to our CCC Badminton Club. :):):)

Since CCC commenced 6 years ago, many changes have been made. And the changes were made according to the requests from our members.

Currently, there are some members expressing interest to commence Training@MSAC every Saturday, 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Our trainees will be working on exercises in footwork, strokes, drills, player's positions, match tactics, reaction time, etc...

CCC will teach trainees the 'Art of Playing Better Badminton'. We run a structured program for training purposes only. Our trainees are trained to focus on improving their own skill and ability.

Therefore, this session is not a Social Games session.

BTW: Without including this Training@MSAC every Saturday, 5:00pm-7:00pm, CCC is currently having 1 Coaching session and 2 Social Games sessions each week. And they are located at:

http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50965 (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50965) (Games@MSAC on Wednesdays)

Good that you are quick to respond to this thread, btchia. :):):)

Whether it's 4pm-6pm or 5pm-7pm, I will be available for both.

Hi Sleepie_angel,

It's good that you have given the time period in which you are available. This would allow others to pick and choose our session times. :):):)

After 2:00pm is good for me too. I attend as a coach for a school competing at Inter-School Matches on Saturday mornings, but I could make it back to MSAC by 2:00pm.

However, our session times must be finished by 8:00pm because MSAC closes at 8:00pm on weekends. :(:(:(

Greetings,

I am again unable to cope with answering so many emails and PMs asking me about this proposed plan to start our CATS@MSAC every Saturday.

Please join in our discussions here. It saves me time when everyone's input/request/concern can be discussed here.

Soon I will be off for another coaching session with another different group. So, I will be back here@Badminton Central later.

Hi witan,

Welcome to CCC@Badminton Central :):):)

Let us summarise the 4 requested session times received thus far:
(suitable for MSAC and myself, which is 2:00pm - 8:00pm)
(1) 4:00pm - 6:00pm patrickk
(2) 4:00pm - 6:00pm btchia
(3) 2:00pm - 8:00pm Sleepie_angel
(4) 2:00pm - 7:00pm witan
There are two more who are interested, namely; Zhong_L and Ann_T. We hope to hear from them ASAP.

It is best to commence with a minimum of 6 trainees. This is because for each session, we can have the allowance of 1 or 2 absentees.

Cheers... chris@ccc

This is a sad post/thread.

I am in distress... my mother back in Malaysia is terminally ill with luekemia at her death bed.

I could be called back to Malaysia at any time. When I am away in Malaysia, we will need our members to continue organising our CCC Badminton sessions.

Our CCC communication is based here at Badminton Central.

I wish that all you members could continue with our regular sessions and communicate here at Badminton Central.

Also when I am away, we will need someone to pick up Llewellyn for our Friday sessions@Waverley.

And for our Wednesday@MSAC, we will need someone to organise our sessions.

For our Saturday and Sunday training sessions, members can decide to turn it into Social Games sessions or cancel them all together. Please let me know so that I can cancel our permanent bookings@MSAC.

We need to communicate here@Badminton Central ASAP.

Ohh, sad to hear that.....I wish everything go well with you and your mom.

I'm willing to help organise the Wednesday@MSAC, if needed...

Friday@Waverly might need other members to take care, most of the time i will be late on friday...

According to Saturday and sunday, i don't think anyone will turn into social especially sunday...too early for most of the people.

Hi Samson.,

Welcome to CCC@Badminton Central !!! :):):)

We will wait for btchia to decide when and where to recommence our CCC Saturday Training. He has suggested it to recommence @Altona.

Btw, btchia is now attending our CCC Sunday Training@MSAC, located at:
http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36264

Perhaps you might wish to attend our CCC Sunday Training before our Saturday sessions kick off again.

Hi Chris, due to transportation difficulties, I would only be able to play @MSAC. I suppose I wouldn't be able to make it if it was @Altona. I would love to attend the Sunday training however, but unfortunately am unable to do so this week due to a paintball session. If I can come next week, I will confirm it on the CCC Sunday Training@MSAC thread. Thanks.

It would be the same like for our Sunday CCC CATS;
* Member...$20 per session
* Visitor.....$25 per session

To book courts at MSAC is not easy (if done weekly). MSAC is often booked out.

It is better for us to organise permanent booking for a period of time after you have gathered 4 people.

Received an email saying that perhaps trainees should be committed for coaching/training for a whole month (say, 4 weeks).

I agree... When trainees are attending on and off (week in, week out), I also lose interest in conducting this type of sessions.
