I also would recommend a Cab 23, but good luck finding one. I've been looking for one w/ no luck.

Others that I would recommend as well is Cab30MS. It's a very solid, all-around racket.

actually they still sell Carbonex 23 in Hong Kong. If not, try the bbeshop.com or bbestore.com.

you can also try SOTX rackets as many would recommend it being more durable than YONEX. =D

What's the currency? If $100 HKD, I really don't think u can get a racket for competitive level of playing. If that's USD, or CD, etc then that's a totally different story. Cab rackets such as cab20, cab30ms are great for single games. ;)

Personally, I don't like flex racket (most of lower end Yonex rackets) for singles, as you need a bit extra punch for the back court stroke, such as clear, smash, etc.

Well, that's what I thought, and I asked a friend in Hong Kong to help me find the racket, but so far, no luck.

And if you're going to try SOTX, I'd say Woven 8 and 7 are solid choices.

Sorry guys i meant 100 Canadian (800 HKD).

Thanks for the replies, I will try to find the carbonex 23 and try it out.

Just wondering if victors are good too? Any suggestions they seem to be cheaper then Yonex, and people say they are even better than Yonex too.

For 100 Canadian, Victor is a good brand, Kason is another good brand.

Wilson and Head have new rackets in that price range.

If your looking for a good ultra-light racket for singles, try Kason, lots of choices to choose from.:)

for 100 Canadian,
try getting the SOTX Woven 8 or 7
or if you want YONEX then probably... Carbonex series.
I've never tried the other ones and my budget was a little higher than 100 dollars Canadian.

It used to be my favourite racquet, with BG66 at 24lbs. Pretty damn heavy(UG4), but a good training racquet. Pretty powerful too because of its weight.
