I am a beginner at singles. I have been wondering whether Victor is better or Yonex. I want to buy a racket around $100 canadian or $800 HKD. I think that Victor rackets are cheaper, and I personally find them pretty attracting.

Can anyone give me advice onto which Victor racket to get that can provide good performance with my limited budget?

I appreciate everyones help!!!:D

you need to tell us your playing style, level of play in order for BCers to advise you. alternatively, there are many posts on Victor rackets. Take some time to read them first.

I am a beginner, and would prefer lighter rackets. I'm fairly well at smashes but horrible at overhand clears.

Try Victor Power Wave 12, easy to use. It is about HK$700 in Hong Kong.

Power Waves 12 might be a bit difficult. Try Artery Tec Ti98 instead. PW12 is head heavy and much stiffer than ATT98.

PW-12 is head heavy? Its racket head is quite light to me. It also gives me a feeling that the sweet spot is quite large, so you can still generate enough power during certain degree of mishit.

SW32 i would not recommend it for beginners. some of Victor rackets i would recommend for singles play for beginners would be Super Nano, Super Nano 5, Artery Tec Ti98. the rackets are not too stiff to start with, and the balance for all three rackets are not that extreme. should be quite value for money. check them out.

I checked the victor super nano 5 and it is more expensive than victor super nano 6 and 7. Why is this? Should i get super nano 5, 6 or 7???

if Super nano 5 is within your budget, then get it. it's the better racket of the three.

Hi, I've decided to buy the victor super nano 5 because I've read other forums and all say this is one of the best rackets. I checked the price on this site http://www.wingeesports.com/index.php?cPath=30_38_41 its $67.58 Canadian (560HKD). Is this a good deal, it doesn't come with string and labour. If I was to buy, what string should I get with it and around how much will the sting and the labour cost all-together?

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

check out your local store on the price of stringing.
