Hello —

I have a Nano Speed 8000 which I've been using for a while, which I enjoy, but I need to get a new second racket. I want a light powerul racket, and am looking a Ashaway, I am interested in the Kevlar 7000, but I played with the VG the other day – it's quite nice – what would people suggest?

The best second racket, in my opinion, is the same as the other one so if your main rackat breaks during a game, you dont have to re-adjust yourself to the other one. Unless you are very comfortable with both and know exactly what you need to change in order to properlly use the other racket.

Yes, I agree, it's just the £140.00 price tag as opposed to £80 / £70.00.
I was thinking of having a look at the NS 9000x in contrast and contradiction to all of that.

Ah ok I see your point quite true, they are a little on the expensive side:p Well best thing I could tell you is to try to find someone who can let you try out his/her racket and try to find something thats somewhat the same as your main. I have had many different rackets so I cant really help you with any racket choice. Have you seen the racket review from Dinkalot, they are quite good, they have helped me in the purchase of my rackets.

Last time I looked on Central Sports web site the NS8000 was on offer for £89.99? Even if it's back to full price then it's £119.99 not £140 ? (maybe you're looking at the RRP rather than the "checkout" price?)

What? £90.00? When I first purchased it, it was £140.00 … I'll check it. Thanks

Sorry, problem solved, it is £90.00 now! I'll check the 9000 price also.
