.
Famemas members growing from 3 to 30-40 people in a year... that's incredible !!!
Ayu, you lead them to have fun; and ROCK the stadium. :D:D:D
.
Actually this year,Famemas Club is organizing it to the members. Last year, it is all by ourselves. Famemas has its own cheerleaders to lead the whole stadium. It will be a memorable experiences to feel when you are a part of the team that contributes to the victory of the players especially own local talents. We will definitely rock the stadium and show to the world that we are the best supporters in Asian.

Hong Kong -- Yohan Wiratama Hadikusumo/Chau Hoi-Wah, Hui Wai Ho/Koon Wai Chee, Leung Chun Yiu/Mong Kwan Yi
strong line up fr most countries as all fighting for OG points. i wonder what happen to Ng Hui Lin? why Lim Khim Wah/Wong Pei Tty instead of Khim Wah/Ng Hui Lin? NHL is not playing in WD also with GLY.
KKK/GLY? better to pair KKK/WPT instead since they paired up before and are quite good.
Lim/Ooi for WD. A KLRC and BAM player pairing? i thought Lim's regular partner is Haw. A few surprise pairing but hope that MAS will do well ;)

As far as I know, there's no online booking. Last year, ticket sales was 'kampong'style, just buy off ticket sellers at the entrance points.
Don't worry, I'll get one set for you. Do you want a season ticket or specific days?If you can't make it at the last minute, I'll pass it to someone else.

Yup, Senai Airport is still there. Right beside Sofitel Senai. I like it 'cos it's a cheap world class hotel, compared to the rest. The hotel is never fully booked 'cos it is quite a distance from JB City. Only popular among nature lovers, Golf enthusiasts and bargain hunters.
Since the ABC championship is under Asian Badminton Federation, it shares website with badmintonasia.com

Maybe on weekend there would be less crowded on bus? Bring a book to read or keep doing warm-up exercises while waiting may help. Don't tell me you're tired so easily, you always talked about players' stamina in your posts :D

Well, it's practically in the woods, with access road to Airport linking it from outside world.
When I was there years ago with my family, one of Malaysia's popular young entertainers, Mawi, stayed in the hotel to run away from his fans. Serves him right for having an open house by inviting fans all over the country to celebrate our Hari Raya festivals.
And pjswift is right, we either have not embraced technology or are consistent enough to have online ticketing for all events, only the major ones. ABC is not big enough to be called major.
But i think the players are Big enough.. ehhehe

LD's chance of winning gold practically evaporates, based on historical conditioning.
the simple fact is the world no 1 is the odd on favour for the olympics gold. he is the one to beat, bar none.

From sina.com.cn:
昨日,中国羽毛球 (http://sports.sina.com.cn/others/badmin.shtml)队离开集训地福建晋江前往马来西亚参加亚锦赛。不过与报名时有所出入,国家队只 派出了男单和混双项目的主力,此前报名参赛的谢杏芳、张宁等人都放弃了比赛。
Team China had departed the training camp at Fujian province on Sunday. However, only the Men's Singles and Mixed Doubles players flew to Johor. The Women's Singles and Doubles players who were originally listed in the entry had all withdrawn! I think Guo Zhendong also didn't join the team so that Xie Zhongbo can be focused on qualification for the Beijing Olympics.

Talking about the lack of live scores instead, this is another classic example of inconsistency. Technology is there, but the application of technology still needs some work.

Well the European Championships have almost everything ready, including the tournament software and live scores, so important for fans like us, especially those from overseas who rely on the internet to stay in contact. More so for BC PAWers who need to have the most updated results.
I hope the ABC will not lag behind and keep us waiting for the scores and make us frustrated. :(

But, he is still COOL. Too many critics on him is not good.!

Not so for every Asian country! ;)
The ABC should be able to find a sponsor for the tournamentsoftware scores. The EC is pretty ahead of the ABC on this one and the software is available to every country organiser for a price.
Now we have to wait as there is no "official" website and live scores! :D
And to PAW on the ABC is pretty frustrating and unproductive because of the long waiting time!

Not possible, unless you are at the stadium.
Those with Astro can watch live from q-final day onwards.
But it is not the same as being there "live".

You can purchase the tickets from Stadium Bandaraya. The semi final ticket cost RM 20 and final cost RM30.

Carbonex_21, this is the new millenium, not the great 80s. When there is a "live" telecast, tickets are available because Malaysian stadiums will not be full. :p
