Hi there,

I'm currently using Yonex N6k strung at 24 lbs.
I'm intermediate level and like to control rather than smash.

I'd like to improve the attacking side of my game (mainly smashing) and want to acquire a (traning) racket for this purpose.

Do you guys have any clues ? (I was thinking of a heavy head stiffer racket)

Many thx

Cheers
Badgone

PS : of course I'm working my fitness also

if you're looking at yonex, you won't get head heavier than the at700, and it's pretty damn stiff too.

I suppose you could buy an actual "training" racquet, I think Ashaway do one that's well over 100 grams.

just buy a racquet from Wal-Mart :p

seriously, its good for developing your forearm

just hit clears/smashes for a few minutes until your arm gets tired

I know karakal sells a training racquet, but I don't know where you'd be able to find it

i know that forza has a power trainer theres 2 of them one weighs 115grams and another that weighs 130grams but yeah. There are other companys that have training racquets as well so yeah just look around. if all else fails then just use a racquet for like walmart or a heavier racquet.

Have anyone tried the Hi-Qua Pro Training racket? Is it good?

i got a training racquet, it is stiff and good for all round training, the best part of it is you could string at 28lbs without much problem, but, make sure you use at a right technique, so that you won't hurt your elbow joint.
