Minus the stamina... The 1hr match against NTM yesterday isn't helping any.

Congratulation to Chong Wei, didn't play exceptionally but manage to beat Taufik. Taufik is not 100% as most of his smashes gone wide, sign of tiring and forcing the issue. Taufik relied too much on net play which CW happened to counter very well. This is still by far the best match I've seen Taufik performed in recent memory, however, to beat players like Chong Wei, Lin Dan, his current form is still not good enough.

Off-topic for a while.Badminton is one of the sports in Malaysia which can make our country proud.Sadly, many citizens prefer watching football and know nothing of our own athletes:( It's not wrong to watch football but we still need to acknowledge our own athletes and support them:o For example, some of my friends don't even know who LCW is but greatly idolizes football players...It's even sadder when they say they do not care if Malaysia wins the OG or TC...:(

I would say the same goes for Indonesia. Football seems a lot more popular with about 10 matches, if not more, live on public tv every weekend and hardly any badminton. And when there was live badminton, TUC 2006 in Japan, so many people were outside not watching it :rolleyes:.

many players smoke...chinese players , MAS players....et....thats their choice....we are not in the position to tell them what to do....they know better what to do with their life....
some who donot smoke but theydo drink......which is one better? smoke or drink??? many european players drink also.....
