Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy a racket but I still don't know which one will I get... I'm an all-rounder player (not too aggresive, not too net-playish), and I don't want a racket that's too head heavy... Here in my location, I can get a Wilson V2, V4, V8 or Yonex Armortec 150, or 250 in about the same price, $50. Which one is the best for me? or is there other brand/types in the same price range ($40-$50) which is recommended? Oh, and I prefer a more durable racket, because maybe I'll use it for some time... Thx b4.

Btw, in my location, the brands that are available are only Yonex, Carlton, Wilson, and Prince...

new Yonex NS800 (not NS8000) or NCTuff 9 are good option too. Head light and good power

I own a Wilson V8 and a Yonex AT250 racket. The Wilson racket seems to be very head light, whereas the AT250 is quite heavy headed. I think I prefer something in between, but it all depends on your playing style.

I've just come from an MP99 which I adore and have just bought a Wilson V2 and love it to bits. I still play with the MP99 if I want to smash about the court, but the V2 just feels more of an all-round racket. Not forgetting to mention it looks like great with it's dragon-teethed grommets and volcanic shaft.

Not too sure if the 'Volcano' shaft is just a gimmick piece of tech, but I picked up quite alot of Yonex Arc's, Nano's, AT's, MP's and even the Carbo30Muscle (not too keen on traditional oval shaped rackets) and the Wilson shone through all... and for only $400HKD (£25/$50US) to boot. Overgripped and ready to explode.
