:D You are right! I thought there was something strange with Zwiebler playing Anand but I couldn't think of what it was. I guess there must have been a redraw and the mixed doubles players where not informed on time ... or something.

Richard Vaughan is a Wales players, existed for quite long in the circuit but never really get any big titles .
I guess there must be something wrong in TCS games, not improved but drop drastically ever since being promoted to the senior squad.

ok, thanks, saw his name before.
TCS lost to Cze player, weird, he did ok in MO 2008. TCS is not in senior squad yet, still back-up squad but Rashik Sidek wants better results this year. TCS improved under Misbun in 2007, then stagnant.

Bad results for the Germans...I was really confident that Marc Zwiebler could make it at least to the maindraw...

Zwiebler must not have been happy with the withdrawal of John Moody, otherwise his chances would be pretty good yes.
Here is Joppien: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORCDxc-uO80
To be fair he did say 3/4 with Persson and at the time his ranking was better. Not so sure if the new scoring system is better for him or maybe still adjusting ...
