Beginners/Recreational Badminton - Halifax?

Hi Everyone,

I haven't played badminton in over 10 years! But I'd love to play recreational badminton in Halifax with people my age (but not necessarily my age - 30.) Anyone know of any community based weekly play, or at the universities with other beginners?

The spring sign-up started a few weeks ago, but it seems to me there were still spots available at various places in the HRM as of last week.

2) Dalplex has a badminton club which I know plays several times a week. I don't belong but I have seen them in action. Seems to run the gamut from recreational to quite serious. http://www.athletics.dal.ca/default.cfm?id=563

3) You can always contact NS Badminton Association who might have other leads on where to play.
