I was doing a lot of research on the forums and still came to no conclusion. My mom offered to buy only one of them for me. Which would you choose and why?

Thanks for the help everyone.

what is your playing style? Also which Ti-10?

My playing style is mostly defensive, I like to play with Head Light Rackets. I drive a lot, I don't really have a strong smash (wish I did).

Hmm just a piece of advice dude. I see you're from Montreal. That's where I'm from too. If you're gonna buy a racket, you should definitely get one that's marked Canada. If you have any trouble with those (like the racket breaks because of material default) you can take it to a Sports Experts and tell them like you bought this a few months ago and it broke (obviously it wont work if you broke it say by contact with another racket) and they'll send it to Yonex Canada for a small fee and then if they see that its not your fault that the racket broke, they'll send you a new one. They usually send you the same model, but if your model is discontinued, they'll send you a racket they find to be of equal value and capacity. Sometimes its a racket that you will like and sometimes it may have the same value/capacity for them but its a racket that you might not like. Either way, if there truly was a material default, you get another racket in its place. It wont work if the racket is not Canadian.

How about the NS7700 or NS7000?

Let's stay with the racquets in the thread's title ;)

I was just trying to help the dude out. And if you think about it, its not a scam. Why should the customer settle for a product that does not fulfill its obligations right? :P

inu33, Because the current Ti-10 's are only available in Asia.

magiadam, I would say that the Ti10 is better value for money (mainly cos its cheaper than the Arc 7!) and a stiffer racket, but make sure its a genuine one before deciding to buy it!

IMO the ti-10 is alittle more demanding..being headlight and extra stiff =/ I dont know you're playing style but youll need quite of wrist for this one to fully unleash its potential. And yeah, TU-10 is only available in asia. Arc Saber 7 is available in most of Canada (not in ottawa yet...). Basically what inu was trying to say taht if you buy from an authorized yonex store( i.e sports experts) you will get 6 months warranty on any defect on the racket. However, buying from a authorized yonex store will mean you will be paying quite a bit more. If you are intersted in some good deals w/ this warranty, take a look at maxsports.com. The shippng they provide is fast and reliable..plus their store is in Toronto. They offer free stringing and a choice from strings.

getting back to the subject, both rackets will need quite a bit of wrist, ti-10 being a little more demanding but the reward is awesome! =] I'd say buy the ti-10 =]

both Arc7 and ti-10, play almost the same.
arc7 is faster in maneuverability and ti-10 is more powerful in smash, if you want to improve your power for smash, pick ti-10.
cheaper version of ti-10 is here www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53258

I think you would like the ARC7 better. Easier to get power, not as demanding, head light, med stiff. Ti10 would probably be too slow and stiff for you.

Why not you expand your choice to another brand such as RSL. The new model milennium 8 series is coming with a new tech which I think is suit with your play style. The price is more cheaper and also more easy to find in Canada. Best of luck...

Currently I m (double player) using Carlton Powerflo 807 Wide. 85g/G5/25lbs BG66/Iso micro carbon frame/even balance/stiff. Excellent all round racket at least to me.

Hi,

My strings just broke on my Yang Yang Titanium Mesh 4000 and my friend who strings racquets said i shouldnt bother restringing it, and just buy a new one.

I tried out my other friends' Yonex Ti 8 SP with a BG 68 Ti string and i quite liked the feel of it.

My question is: Is the Yonex Ti 10 better than the Ti 8? If i like the Ti 8, would i like the Ti 10 better? Did i like the Ti 8 because of the good BG 68 Ti string, and not so much the racquet?

I havent tried the Ti 10, but it seems to be quite a popular topic discussed here at Badminton Central.

And also, how does the Ti 10 compare with Amortec range?

I am a female, yet i smash hard, but would like to improve my net control shots and backhand clears. Please advise.

Yes, the Ti-10 is a better racquet than the Ti-8.
That's also why it costs more.

If your smash results from an explosive action, you will love the Ti-10.
If your smash results from a classic swing, you will love the Nanospeed 9000S.
If the main feature of your game is the smash, then choose one of the above.
However, if you don't smash that often and like to mix the delicate and the powerful, go for the ArcSaber 7.

All these racquets will, of course, keep you smashing hard :D
You need to choose the one that suits your hitting technique.

TI-10 head heavy, harder to swing around, shaft not light

Ti-10 i feel it swings like a mp99 only difference is head heavy

AT series, head heavy, easier to swing around , shaft quite light

maybe you will think different, best is still demo them

I see on Dink's racquet comparison schedule that there is an old Ti 10 and a new Ti 10.

What's the difference btw the two?

My game is about 40% smashes, 20% clears, 20% midcourt and 20% drops.

Which one is better suited for me?
