The Official Theme Song will be released next month, at 100-day countdown of Beijing Games (April 29, 2008). I guess the frontrunner to win that selection is Forever Friends. Giorgio Moroder has good reputation to compose grand song, from Olympic Games (Hand in Hand/Seoul 1988) until FIFA World Cup (To Be Number One/Italy 1990).

The organizer of Beijing OG (BOCOG) has released theme song for 100-day OG countdown, titled "Beijing Welcomes You". This song is hoped to gain success like "We Are Ready" (theme song for One Year countdown).

The list of selected Olympic songs will be released on gala celebration party April 30, 2008. And the official theme song for Opening Ceremony of Beijing OG will be chosen from those selected songs.

It seems so many theme song entries for this sport extravaganza, but only one song will capture huge attention on 080808, let's see...
