just wanted to ask if someone has information about mascots that were used in different tournaments in badminton?

well here are the mascots that were used during the wilson swiss open. Unfortunatly i dont know the specs or specific details about them but somebody in here might.

lol well the person inside the costume is giving the thumbs up so im assuming they know whats happening around them that its the medal persentation.

fair enough that could be the case to just do what there told, well they do have eye holes they must be able to see some parts of whats happening atleast but they look creepy none the less in ways.

The most awkward part of that mascot is the person inside it.

I think they should have used crisper feathers at the end... the mascot looks like a used birdie... lol might be a bad image for the brand :o

Although this isnt a badminton specific mascot it was the mascot for the 2004 oylmpic games. ofcourse you have some badminton players modeling them.

i think the idea of the shuttlecock mascot is cute but the execution is a bit off. hahahahahahah :) let's brainstorm and think of ways to make it better. :D

Last year, I participated in a demo for Wilson's new racquets.
The racquets were pretty good... but not the shuttles.

As meteoflare said, this raggedy mascot doesn't do Wilson any good ;)

Those running shuttles look like those running sausage at American baseball games.

Actually I was looking for mascots as smash master attached (the second one) but more specific of badminton competitions. I remember that I saw such mascots just couple of times but it is reality. If I remember correct it was bee with racket and maybe shuttle as well. And they were for world championship mascots. Probably I saw them on the website of WFB but now it is not possible to open the site at all. Such kind of mascots Im searching. Any help?

ah no problem that i can help you with, im not sure about the Bee one would have to look more for that but i know that in the 2007 World Championships in Malaysia they had a mascot like that its a tiger? lion? one of those you be the judge of that one here they are. But this one was badminton specific to this tournament.

If you watch the Swiss Open MSQF between TH and BCL, at about 1:20 as the players entered the court, these two running shuttlecocks ran onto the court waving some white stick and turning in circle, well ..., acting ..., see it yourself :D
