This should be first round..because the winner has to play Rizki/Yao Lei to qualify......unless Rizki/Yao Lei got promoted to Main Draw

Sheng Mu Lee & Chia Chen Yang (Tpe) bt Anggun Nugroho & Endang Nursugianti (Ina) 21-15, 21-13

Disappointing, considering the experience of both Anggun and Endang  But, as I have mentioned so many times, I like the Chinese-Taipei pair of Fang Chieh-Min/Lee Sheng-Mu and this XD pair contains one half of it.

The way this tournament is being run and reported , it's just as well we don't have a PAW on it. It would be a total disaster, much worse than my port and cigar adventures :D:D.

OK actually... for Sandy. Imagine the headache he'd have trying to organize it, get results, etc etc. Might have to commit him to an asylum after that :D:D

Hmm....have heard of that too...indeed, Markis Kido's father has been sick for quite some time.

Bona Septano is Kido's younger brother and his partnership with Mohd Ahsan will be one for the future.

Mourning situation for Kido's family. Markis, Bona and Pia have different family name as their last names are Kido, Septano and Zebadiah. No wonder, many bdm fans don't know that they are siblings.

Speaking of Indonesian players, Candra Wijaya has some great optimism in reserve for Indonesia at the Beijing Olympic Games :)

Check this out (http://sports.indiatimes.com/Wijaya_continues_to_defy_all_odds/articleshow/2918066.cms) from the sidelines of the India Open 2008.

I happened to get one result. From Badminton England.

England's top singles player Andrew Smith cashed in on Olympic rival Richard Vaughan's withdrawal to reach the last eight at the Yonex-Sunrise Indian Open in Hyderabad by winning two rounds today.
Smith, the world No 35 to Welshman Vaughan's ranking of 41 in today's new list, benefited from a first-round walkover when India's Anup Sridhar was forced out through injury.
He then defeated Iranian Ali Shahhosseini 21-14 21-15 to set up a last 16 clash with Chong Wei Feng, who beat China's second seed Chen Jin 25-23 12-21 21-16.
And Smith came through against Chong after a tense three game battle, winning 21-19 in the third.
He will now meet Malaysia's Kay Bin Yeoh or India's Anand Pawar.
The Hampshire player went into the Indian event with a 2,000 point advantage over Vaughan and after this week's action in Hyderabad, there will effectively be just the individual event at the European Championships in mid-April and the KLRC Atwater International in Montreal from April 22-26 for Vaughan to overhaul Smith in the race for the one men's singles place in the GB team for Beijing.
Olympic qualifying ends on April 30 and the following week's rankings will determine who goes to the Games.
