Sunday 13-Apr-2008: Monash Sport Community Sports Day

Monash Sport are hosting a Community Sports Day on Sunday 13th of April, 2008. This event will attract over 100 social and competitive badminton players from all ages to compete in a friendly round robin competition.

Monash Sport will provide food, drink and courts on the day.

If any badminton fans wish to volunteer or participate in the day please contact the staff at Monash Sport, at Monash University, Wellington Road, Clayton Campus on 9905-5813 or 9905-4102

The Board and Staff of Badminton Victoria have the pleasure of cordially inviting you to attend the 2008 Annual General Meeting & Awards Night - Celebrating 75 years of Badminton Victoria

"An evening to celebrate the excellent performances and outstanding contributions made to the sport of badminton in Victoria in the past 75 years"

Event Details
Date: Saturday, 19-Apr-2008
Time: 4.00pm - 6.00pm (AGM) followed by 7.00pm – 10.00pm (Awards night)
Venue: Kooringal Golf Club, Wilga Avenue, Altona, VIC. 3018
Cost: $40 per head (Incl. a 2 course meal)
RSVP: Friday, 11-Apr-2008

With the establishment of the Victorian Badminton Association occurring in 1932, it is now time to come and celebrate 75 years of Badminton in Victoria. Come and join us to look at all we have achieved, the changes that have occurred and celebrate the evolution of Badminton in Victoria.

In addition to celebrating 75 years, come along to listen to our special guest speaker World Champion Shooter, Olympic Gold Medallist, Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist, Russell Marks.
