Windream 02-18-2002, 06:06 PM haha, who doesn't community centres usually pretty cheap if you haven't tapped into them yet, competition usually aren't that good and sometimes ppl have attitude problems. Some cc's that i know are eastview, j. simpson, j. piccinni divirtual 02-24-2002, 09:24 PM I live downtown, and was searching for a place for some time, with my son. I started at the rec centre at North Toronto (on Eglinton, where Avenue Road dead-ends). Saturday evenings. I now play at the George Brown College club. Feather birds, 4 wood courts, good lighting, on the sixth floor. On King Street East, between Jarvis and Sherbourne. Sundays 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday (really good players come) 7 to 10 p.m. (I think); Thursdays (more beginners) 8:30 p.m to 10:00 p.m. while floor hockey is in season, otherwise 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. $5 drop in or $85/six months. The coach is Kim Ng. They're actually just wrapping up coaching sessions (Sundays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.), which are worth taking -- either as beginner, or brushing up. TDotSmAsHer 02-24-2002, 10:40 PM Hi if you don't mind can you give me a number to contact? steelarm 02-28-2002, 10:17 PM I've heard of eastview, would you know the address or number of this place...? Thanks in advance. |
