The candidates are:

- Tommy Sugiarto (WR45)
- Alamsyah Yunus (WR68)
- Andreas Adityawarman. (WR145)

The selection process is round-robin, rather than knockout. so every player has to play each other..

Andre almost lost to Alamsyah earlier this year as well (German Open). These 4 should be pretty close in term of skills.

I think we have a 98% chance of Candra playing. He is still the #5-6 MD player on Earth and can complement any of these guys Hendra Setiawan, Kido, Luluk, and Alven should any of them get injured. He has practiced together with them for years... ;) I heard Kido-Hendra feels even better about the team if this particular senior of theirs are in the team. Candra is mentally very strong and a positive force in team competition. :)

There is a 67% chance Nova will be selected because Candra thinks Nova's style of play fits him better than Flandy. And Nova is still the #1 ranked XD player on the planet and current XD World Champ. ;) Nova, in my opinion is not a particularly notable team player. He can get extra nervous if he has to deliver one point for his team. I saw Lily-Nova got clobbered by Candra-Greysia and Devin-Nova nervously defeated by Luluk-Yoke in the December 2006 National Championship. PBSI wants to know how Candra-Nova fare in next week's Asian Championship.

If Nova should get injured, then I will choose Yoke. He is fearless in team competition. Very bold match-playing style [though admittedly a bit reckless at times]. Yoke is also a notable defender and front-end player, can fit well with Candra, who is more dangerous as a rear-end player. 25% chance Yoke shall be selected.

I won't choose Joko-Hendra AG-Rian at this point... :o

I like the idea of having Yoke in the Thomas Cup team....better than AG/Joko IMHO.

if that's the case, they should have sent yoke to partner candra in the ABC rather than nova.

Pretty much zero at this point. The MS lineup should be set, and the remaining question mark is just the MD.

In all honesty, I doubt the 4th MS will see playing time, unless injury happens to the top 3.

Tommy must have improved much in the past months. He defeated everyone fair and square this week... He should be INA MS4! :) Andre, Alam, Adit all could not hold their poise enough. Except Tommy, none should not be #4 this time around... :o
