View Full Version : Surrey BC, summer doubles league

i am in the process of finalizing the arrangements for an open B doubles limited league in Surrey BC at the Guildford Rec center which will run for 4 Mondays in July.

we will be running a round robin format, (within groups depending on the number of doubles entries) for the first three Mondays and a finals on the last Monday. Each evening will be at least two matches (3x15). if you would be interested, let me know by email radbkool@hotmail.com. i will send you further info.

badrad and other vancouverian, i might be in vancouver in 3rd weekend of june, do u guys play in the weekend?

it's a definite for me. i'll pen you in for that weekend.

where are you staying in Vancouver and what is your schedule? i think we could arrange with Peter Kho and Viver for some doubles action. there a number of centers or facilities all around town that would be available for us. some are drop-in style, and others are pre-booked.

thanks for your consideration. I'll find out which hotel i'm staying. My stay can be flexible. If i schedule enough activity around vancouver' i'll stay longer, if not shorter. Actually, i'll be attending a wedding but after that i'm quite free up.

Hahaha...Cooler did make that trip. Not sure if Badrad still have that Open B Doubles league going, though.

Barad, you do play at the guildford centre with your daughter, right? I always play there on thursday, saturday and sunday. if indeed is true, then we have played each other. and you beat me both times. If not, i would like to make my acquaintant with you.

hmmm.... must have been a long time ago, since we haven't played in guildford for nearly a year or more.
maybe we can meet up at the next vrc get-together planned.

Oh!!! that is alright. Yes, meeting at the VRC is great. I did express my desire to come with cappy75. Hopefully, we will meet sooon.

I play at Guildford rec almost every Sunday. But it's Family Drop In. I don't like the way they plan the schedule. Sunday is the best day for me to play with my friends. But because it's family badminton, I need a parent to get in. So my dad has to come along. Really think they should redo it...
