Thomas/Uber Cup TV schedule for HK?

i was browsing through the startv.com and cabletv.com.hk website, but i can't find any mention of the broadcast of the TC/UC at all !?!

i went and look into the StarTV schedule for mainland China, and they have it live, everyday, all the sessions.

what's wrong with this? i can't believe that HK isn't getting any live broadcasts at all!

Can you check Chinastarports to see if they include previews

of previous T Cups, maybe we can finally manage to capture a

little of Tang Xian Hu on tape.

strange. the espnstar site shows that Star is airing the TC/UC. where as the Star site itself doesn't seem to agree. i guess i am just confused.

Checking the TC/UC schedule, it looks like only one court (out of four) has TV coverage and that's court 2 where China play all their matches.

Doesn't any of the other countries' TV networks cover any of the games?

that is very good observation. it looks like the Chinese organizers definite is playing favoritism.

i for one care less about matches like UC China vs. Germany. instead, i much prefer to see the clash between Malaysia/Indonesia and Korea/Denmark in the Thomas Cup.

i am sure the Malaysian and Indonesian fans will be extremely disappointed. and honestly, i am disappointed with the organizers in China. by playing such favoritism, they are going to broadcast some less interesting matches.

here is my choice for the broadcast slots:

May 9 : TC - Korea vs. Denmark
May 10: TC - Indo vs. Thailand
May 11: TC - China vs. Denmark
May 12: UC - China vs. Korea or Indonesia vs. Malaysia
May 13: UC - Denmark vs. Indonesia
May 14: TC - China vs. Korea

it looks like May 12 is the best day to watch any group matches.
