all kinds of TI-10 are 3UG5, SP

Frame: no great difference except the colour form dark to light and back to high.

Shaft: same length, I thought the yellew Ti-10 was no thin & longer shaft.and the material , black Ti-10 and violet Ti-10 are Ultra Hign Modulus Graphite ,which is higher grade than yellow Ti-10. IMO, hardness of black and violet Ti-10 are the same but yellow one is more stiff.

Weight: By random, blake one 89.5g,yellow one 90.1g,violet one 89.1g. nearly the same.

Balance point: By random, blake one 285mm,yellow one 290mm,violet one 283mm, I can see that violat Ti10 gose back to copy black Ti10 ,the successful classic.

It was sail that yellow Ti10 is lighter so it suitable for amateur, but according to this test,I don't think so.

It's a gold shuttle :D.

If the 2nd Gen Ti10 is the stiffest and the most head-heaviest of the range, does that mean that it's more suited for offensive players than the other Ti10's ?

Great post, answers a lot of questions. Although I heard the Ti-10 black and red had two different versions produced. One was super offensive and stiff, the other was more defensive and headlight. I am assuming that the black one you have is that defensive one, because I have tried the very old ti-10 and the new purple one and they are not close to being the same at all.

It must be the 2U version. The 1st 2U plays *very* differently compared to the 3U. I use 1st generation 2U versions.

Actually no, supposedly Yonex released two different versions of the original red and black ti-10 with same weight and everything. I will try to do more research on it unless someone knows the facts and can confirm.
