Ya-loh. Lim PS said the rookies were nervous - it's Julia's 1st Uber too I think. Hui Lin was nervous even against the weak NZ team.
Now have to face tougher route, Japanese cuties, then 2nd seeds Korea. Korea did say they prefer to meet Msia than Denmark.
im sure korea would like that, haha

Malaysia face the Japanese in the next round. That is the price of losing to Denmark. I consider it an upset. In my mind, except for WS1 and WS3, we are considerably stronger than Denmark. I don't think we will beat Japan.

That Hui Lin is too fat for a young girl. You can literally see her fats swinging around her at the tummy (i won't call waist as she doesn't seem to have one) and her thigh when she hit the shuttle !
If she wants to change her mind and continue playing, she should go on a weight loss programme. Else better she quit and concentrate on studying. So fickle minded. Sometime quit and then quickly take back words and come back.

Yup...that's why as INA fans, we are happy with the KOR's lineup.
However, if I were MAS fans, I will be totally disappointed.
Nay, I am not disappointed, I am disgusted. Goes against the spirit of the game.
But if Korea don't want to win, so be it.

WS3 ? Lydia is supposed to be stronger than that Camilla Sorensen. It's Camilla Sorensen and not Camilla Martin, yah ?
Why Rexy + YKH so "kiasu"??? let those youngsters get a feel of playing in TC for future grooming... why bring them over yet refuse to field them? go there "wayang wayang" only?
Ah Kelantan is famous for wayang kulit, right?
They should be consulted as advisors.

As I mentioned earlier, it's disappointed that Julia lost narrowly and she should have finish off the match in straight sets while leading 18-15 in the 2nd game. I remember Koo Kien Keat was playing very well in his debut 4 years ago. It still has a long way to go for MAS UC squad. Sigh...

Errrr, in case you havent noticed, Hui Lin is the best WD among the youngsters - Goh LY, Woon Khe Wei, even KLRC's Haw. Not sure if she's better than Chong SC but her combo with Lim PS worked well during TC qualifiers. I think that was why she was chosen to partner Pek Siah in tie against Spore instead of Haw.
She's aggressive, good at attacking.
Ppl have also nicknamed CEH as "fatty bum bum" but she & WPT still our top WD for a number of years.

I read in earlier pages that glass fell on the court during Julia's match. Maybe that effected her concentration. Anyway, KKK played well but they lost in 2004 in that match that KKK replaced CCM.

That was very brief. Samuel saw Hui Lin, Goh LY, Khe Wei play during National GP end of March. He said Hui Lin is the best among the 3. She looks big cos she's tall. Our CEH also was plump but can beat Japanese cuties.
I saw Goh LY partner KKK for XD for ABC, ok lah but Hui Lin better.
Anyway, my point is Hui Lin was chosen cos she's the best among the youngsters we have - you also saw her during qualifiers in Feb & think she's hmm a good bet.

I think MAS shud just take it easy tonite. It does not matter if we win 5-0 or can afford to lose 1-4, we'd still end up as group winners. So, I suggest the players take it easy and not show their "real stuff" to the koreans. Why go all out when the outcome is foregone .

Lineup is up -- KOR is confirmed not interested in even beating MAS.
MS1:Lee Chong Wei vs Shon Sheung Mo - The vetean should be able to upset the off-form LEE
MS2: Wong Choong Hann vs Hoong Ji Hoon :Judge from yesterday unimpressive perfomance by the MAS Captain, The Korea Junior should be able create an upset here
MD1: Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah vs Jung Jae Sung/Lee Jae Jin : This partnership is the same as the one who beat Koo/Tan in Qualifier
MS3: Mohd Hafiz Hashim vs Hwang Ji Man : An expected but yet the one and only face saving point won by the YOYO :o
MD2: Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong vs Lee Yong Dae/Hong Ji Hoon : who dare to discount off Lee YD Chances , a genius in Doubles... Didn't he've just won this morning, partnering SSM
IMO. KKK always looks struggling while playing against LeeYD.
Why oh why Yap Kim Hock does not use this chance to field Mohd Arif Latif and Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari/Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif in this inconsequential matches???
It is still possible for MAS to lost it 1-4;)

Cannot, wait get bashed like TC qualifiers. MD lost to Korea stratch pairs, though Msia won 3-2, got bashed, that's the pressure the players must face.
Unless it's strategy to lose 1-4 so that wouldnt meet China like some said. If play halfway, someone suddenly gets injured, then you'll know :D
Since playing full team and won 3-2 also got bashed, why not play all youngsters and ensure that MAS still finishes first and throw those Koreans to the shark pit (INA and the home crowd). That would be a better strategy for MAS. MAS still can't avoid meeting China in the SF since they are ensured top spot already.

1. Even if MAS were to lose 1-4 or 2-3, they will still top the group
2. By losing 1-4, they will spoil KOR's plan of finishing 3rd in the group, thereby feeding them to the Senayan crowds, out for their bloods should KOR were to meet INA in the QF.

The Danes probably feel that they will be able to repeat the same perfomance in TC Jpn 06. They are confidence to beat MAS, that's why they choose to lost this match to face MAS rather than korea in the QF...

What strategy use by the Danes???
Peter Gade > Sato (normally :D)
Persson > Sasaki (Persson beat Sasaki in Swiss Open)
Jorgensen semi-finalist in the European Championship so in good shape
Doubles 50-50?

I dont think the danes are "using" any strategics here. I truly think this is Gades level of play atm and that the danes thought the 1st singles was a secure point. Either sato is playing very well or Peter lost a lot during his 4 months of absence from the world circuit.
