The official hotel is far away and it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to get there.Some independent players opted to stay near china town as the hotel rate is too expensive.....honestly it is not really worth it for Sin $ 358 per room....room is not big and too white....

Kallang Leisure park is Players' top choice for lunch and dinner.....food is quite cheap...only players/official can bring the food into the hall and the rest cant...

SBA, just like INA's organizer ( During Thomas Cup) know how to spoil Media, not the player..for media, they have snack, coffee/tea. etc...for Players/Official only water and banana/apple...sigh!! hopefully INA Open will be better....

I found the ushers too inflexible.

The Danish players went into the Corporate Box area to sit behind the court where Juhl/Frier were playing in the WD quarterfinals, to support their teammates. Unfortunately the ushers told them to leave immediately. The reason given was that the seats were reserved for guests. Come on, there were so many empty seats in the Corporate box. Really do not see the need to chase them out. Last year I witnessed Bao Chunlai being asked to leave the coporate box area. What a shame. If only I had an extra guest pass, I would have given it to him.

I believe the guests would love to get close to the the players. I certainly would not mind HHY sitting next to me!

I know why cause I was seated in the same section as the VVIPs, only a few rows higher. The cameras naturally will focus more on them and inevitably I was also caught in the process. Jimbo was seated nearer to them and would have captured more of the limelight!

Actually not very comfortable as jimbo had said. During the XD finals when I shouted on top of my voice "Come on ENGLAND" (my PAW was on them to win against Rudy's INA), all eyes were directed upwards to my face. I quickly hide behind my camera less something less desirable should come my way...;););)

The lucky winner of the Mazda is Wilson Tang (or something like that). When the MC (my fren) announced him as the winner, Wilson was in the restroom. His gf was trying to call him and buy time so that Wilson would not miss the Mazda. While the MC was counting down for the last call, his gf slowly walked down to the podium. In the end, Wilson managed to hold on to his "fire" in the toilet and rushed to claim his new Mazda.

My fren said to me that Wilson almost become the first man on earth to pay S$49,000 for a pee :eek::D and Wilson knew that... :p
