Anyone know of any places that sell MP77 for cheap?
If only you asked a month earlier!!!...
Brown's Sports was having MP77 on sale for $148.00 plus taxes.
But the downside was that the MP77 was 2U and G3.

Zero, brown sports sux! I bought stuff from there a couple of times...... their customer service is crap.... and they charge taxes! The place stinks of cigerettes as well. From my experiance like 3-4 months ago buying from there. Yo's sports is pretty good... he doesn't charge tax and he strings for free... I'm not sure his prices though... Lee's is ok.. just a bit more expensive then Yo's.

I agree that the service sucks at Browns Sports and the guy there seems that he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about when I ask him questions about the racquet. As I said in my post, they had a SPECIAL on that racquet and it was fairly cheap. That is why I mentioned it. About taxes, if you haven't realized it, Yo's Sports already has tax included in their price. But the thing I dislike about Yo's Sports is that most of their stock is SP version, not CD version.

Oh Lol I just remembered............ when I asked the fat guy there at Browns Sports if they could string my racquet up with BG-85. The fat guy gives me this attitude and this look. He said, "There's no such thing as BG-85.... it's either BG-80 or BG-70 or BG-65" Then I told him that Yo's sports had it.. He said this! " Well I don't know where you get that information from kid, but I think I know more badminton then you since I do sell the equipment so I am sure there is no BG-85.... as for Yo's sports, it's probably a fake yonex string they made up"
LOL...... I was like "Ok....." and I never went back there again.
Stuff I got from Browns Sports:
MP-55
Yonex bag (which I don't like but since parents were paying I had to decide quick and there was only 2 yonex bags available there) It's the navy blue 6 racquet tour I want one of those Blue/silver ones.. I think its 2020.

Same here, the fat guy was there. But I can't believe he actually said that....LOL....
Browns Sports seldomly has sales on their racquets, but when they do, they are so cheap!!!

148? wow... that's pretty good...
yo's sells mp77's for 190 no tax, no string costs... lees is the same, but u have to pay for strings.. (minus the labour cost)

$148 + 15% tax = 170.20
Add on BG-65 there and it's $20 + 15% tax +170.20 = $193.20
Add on BG-70 Pro or BG-80 ... something around $30 + tax and racquet............
I'm pretty sure Yo's and Lee's carries CD racquets as well as SP....

I know this is offtopic but I have a funny story about the fatman. THis was at preoffsaa. I was with 2 of my other friends and fatman and I just had an argument about the carlton powerflo racket and how he said carlton had never made this racket before. He exploded at me and went on and on trying to embarrass me and such. In response to this we did something very unprofessional but he very much deserved it. When he went to the washroom to take a...uhh....crap he was alone and we offed the lights on him so he was alone in the dark taking a crap...lol
i know i know that was mean, but it was well deserved lol

Does anyone know where UNOFSAA is held this year? Too bad that it's only mixed and doubles only. NO SINGLES!!
I thought every region or district has their own UNOFSAA.

For some reason our school only has doubles and singles this year. No mix. I'm not sure about last year though cause there was a strike thingy and no school teams were up!

there's only 1 unofsaa i believe.... i was thinking about going, but if they found out that i had qualified for ofsaa, i think they wouldn't let me go to ofsaa.... which is totally not worth going to 1 tournament for...

What's UNOFSAA????
Nanashi
04-30-2002, 10:17 PM
unofsaa is a tournament for players who didn't qualify for ofsaa...
i would actually like to go because i guess i have a good chance of winning...
but i qualified for ofsaa, which i guess is better since i get to miss school to go to an all expense (cept, food... rats..) paid trip...

there are only doubles and mixed events, no singles...
you're going to have to ask other members about registration info.. sorry..

it's totally discriminating against people who made it to ofsaa.... making it to ofsaa doesn't mean your better than everyone else... the people who didn't make it in york region for example... i know the men's doubles team that came in 3rd, and they could whoops my partner and i REAL bad...
