anyway. it was a very exciting semi-final indeed. thanks all for coming.

i think LYB's gamble on the youngster failed him this time. Lin Dan was probably the correct choice, but Bao was nervous and fell apart at crucial moments. on the other side, Hafiz was well composed even when trailing, gained his composure and won back the game. i think the 2nd singles is the key, and Hafiz got his job done.

Zhang/Chen was very close to unseating Choong/Lee. i believe Park already guessed that China will be using the same strategy, weak 1st doubles, strong 2nd. so Park kept the original pairings and that came through. there were a couple of occasions when Zhang/Chen mis-coordinated. a result of the scratch pairing.

I just can't believe you kept CCTV-2 to yourself until the match was nearly over. It's not like it's password protected or anything... I've been sitting here cursing that #?%&* live-scoring site... and hitting the "reload" button to refresh this thread... and then there's a functioning live video stream! I got there just in time to see the last 3 rallies.

Isn't sharing information like this exactly what BC is about?!

I'm sorry, but I just can't pretend I'm not disappointed.

I sat on the live scoring site, clicking on the reload button every 10 seconds as I kept losing my connection. I also kept my other browser window on the 'game 4' message thread and managed to miss the thread about the live streaming completely!! Arrggghhhh!

I hope I don't offend any Malaysian supporter but thank God Choong/Lee pulled thru this time. I mean, there have been instances of them screwing up at the crucial moment and I was wondering if they were gonna fumble again. Anyway, congrats to my neighbors up north... =)
