View Full Version : Status for Pro-Kennex Kinetic ULX
LazyBuddy 05-21-2002, 09:53 AM Hi,
As a huge fan for Pro-Kennex equipment, I just wonder whether Pro-Kennex Kinetic ULX is dis-continued or not. Seems it's not very easy for me to get this kind of racket in US market any more.
In case anyone knows where I can get one, please let me know.
U can get it in India! It is abt 50Us i think! It is a okk racket! highly underrated!
You can check out this site in UK:

Nic, the Kinetic ULX isn't the same as the Titanium ULX though. :)
ops, really?
I thought they are the same, I have a Pro Kennex racquet where the shaft said "Pro Kennex Kinetic Ti XL" on it but I couldnt find any info about this racquet anywhere on the web. :P

Erm, I could be mistaken. I have an old Pro-Kennex catalogue, and if I'm not mistaken there is the Kinetic ULX and the Titanium ULX (which comes in two versions, stiff and medium stiff). I'll have to check, though! :)
In any case, I think it was phased out some two years ago.
There were 2 versions! The complete black verison weighs 90Gms and the White and black version weighs 85 gms! The white is less stiffer and i am not sure whihc one is ULX...
Mag, by any chance, is the Pro Kennex Kinetic Ti XL listed on the old catalog that you have?

I have a snap! The white and black version is Titanium ULX.The black version whihc is stiffer and head heavier is Kinetic. It has red letterings all over! Decent racket and going price in Au is abt 70A$.
I would suggest u to try the Kinectic version and it is a okk racket if u dont string it to high!
LazyBuddy 05-21-2002, 08:21 PM Wow... Never expect that much reply... Thnx everyone.
Still have a question, as a huge fan of Pro-Kennex (as I keep saying that), I tried Titanium ULX, too. Sure, it was black and white and not as good as Kinetic ones. I do know that Kinetic ULX has black and red lettering (as appear on catalog), but the one I am using is blue lettering, with "Medium Flex" on the shaft, too.
Can anyone tell me the difference? By the way, thnx again for the information, but since I live in US, I can not go anywhere else to purchase a new one...
If anyone can still find it in US market, let me know asap bah..
U can follow the folowing links to a Prokennex Tit Ulx racket!

LazyBuddy 05-22-2002, 02:53 PM Thnx Yogi, I will try to order my new "weapon" lahh... :D
Derek 11-08-2002, 12:38 AM Does that means the Kinetic ULX is the same version as Kinetic Ti XL? I owned the Kinetic Ti XL(regular Flex), I just need to know what is the optimum stringing for power smash and better control. It is hard to find the spec for ProKennex badminton nowaday. I appreciated if anyone can provide the info
LazyBuddy 11-08-2002, 12:03 PM Well, I am not sure whether they are the same or not. I use mine (Kinetic ULX med flex, 4U???) more as a defensive racket, because it's very light and can give me quick reaction. I use BG65 @20lb, which gave me pretty nice control, and eough power to return and clear.
Due to the fact, it's light and not head heavy, I don't think it can be a very effective smash cannon... But, i could be wrong...
