MD is difficult to predict this year with so many top class pairs out there. None of them has absolute edge over others. Good for badminton.
Personally, i vote for LWW/CTF for they r always my favorite players despite their "trademarked" flops at the final stages. Do it UNCLES!! For your last Olympic...

hmm..from what i see from the official olympic draws:

the bottom half will hopefully be taken care of by Cai-Fu, but they must be careful when handling Eriksen-Lungaard since they've struggled against them before. Then there's also the winner between Choong-Lee vs Lee-Hwang, but Cai-Fu in the finals does seem like a possibility.

the top half will be more interesting, the 3 other candidates for winning gold are Koo-Tan, Jung-Lee and Kido-Setiawan. But let's not count out each of their opponents for the first match.

Yes something like that, when they burst into the scene a year ago they caught everyone by surprise with their all out attacking game being out of the limelight for so long u don't know what to expect from them until the 1st serve = the mystery factor.

I'm very impressed by their abilities when they won the Indonesian National Championship in December 2007 by defeating Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan in the finals... and I think they have defeated virtually all the famous world pairs before [at least once] throughout their career... ;)

Here is my pick on MD after witnessing for the first time how they play:

1) KKK/TBH - Very ordinary. Definitely not the All England Champion that I have seen on video. If these are all they bring to the OG, they can pretty much kiss goodbye to any medal. I hope there are plenty more of them to come, for the sake of MAS fans(Oh, I saw KKK did a showman net shot and it's a pity the JAP did not smash onto his head. Control yourself, KKK, control. :p).

2) LJJ/HJM - After seeing how they tumbled the uncles :crying::crying:, they are definitely one of the medal contenders.

3) MK/HS - It all comes down to what Markis wants. Does he want a medal or does he want to get Hendra killed. Now I know why Hendra is so good at ducking and defending a full on smash from opponent while in front of the court. He has no choice.

4) CY/FHF - They are in very good form. My pick!!
