ok, i was doing some search on titanium mesh..and to me it's seems as everyone agrees...it's the second biggest con job after enron. My gosen grapower 800ti which has ti mesh at 7 and 5 oclock (God knows why it's at those location) with one of them chipped. come on...i mean...i aint paying for something expensive with ti mesh that chips off if i clash the racquet. thats it...i'm going to try and stay away from racquets that has "mesh"

Ichan, you can actually use the EDIT option to edit your own message instead of posting it couple times. :)

well, supposedly, it is moulded on... it's supposed to add durability to the racquet.. whether or not it does is debateable..
It's actually glued on, which I think says it all.

Who else.... Yonex.
Try chipping the TI mesh off, it won't come out that easily and it's unlike other brands whereby they just do a paint job and say it's Titanium Mesh.....

titanium mesh (if it is really that) would be pretty difficult to chip, unless you whacked it real hard. it's like a small film of flexible metal, which is probably difficult to break, which is the intention. have you taken a look at the piece that chipped off? is it really titanium mesh or could it be just a cheap decal? i saw a titanium knockoff earlier this week which had a mesh decal glued in where the 5/7 oclock positions were. really cheesy racquet.

mine is painted on, the locations of the "titanium" are 4 and 8...
It is in fact molded into the racket (Yonex). Clashing it means nothing because it's just the paint job.
