few days after watching the swimming event. a really inspiring sports. watching the swimmers pushing their ability to the limit.

breaking olympic records, breaking the world records or even breaking swimmer's own personal best. years of training. years of hardworking. i can see most of them come to Beijing with determination. come to olympic with a competitive mindset. even, the swimmer (PTH from Korea) said, come to break record. M Phelps, a quest for 8 golds. now claimed 3 golds.

to USA team for 4X100m men relay, what a wonderful show of pushing their limit to the top. broke their own world record by 4 seconds, charging back to claim the gold at the final 10m.

soon, another inspiring event will start, athletic.
want to see how many records will be broken...........;)

for the time being, drifit is also pushing limit. working, travelling back home, watching live ............ :p:D cause most swimming events are at 2pm :(. some are at 6.30pm, that are fine for me.

thinking back, 4X100m men freestyle.
the world record for individual 100m = 47.05secs
4X100m = 3mins 08.24secs = 188.24secs
if, 4 X 47.05secs = 188.20secs

that will be 4 swimmers recording the same world record...... :eek:
wonder how they push it to the limit...?

Micheal Phelps is taking 12,000 calories diet per day during the competition.
regular person = 1,000 calories per day diet.

can a human body intake 12,000 and produce back 12k ... ?

wonder what is the limit :confused:

The recommended amounts in western country is 2,700 (Man), 2,200 (Woman).......but may have more

That level is typical level for any athlete.

Quote of the Day

"We just knew that if we just kept driving and we just kept pushing that we could do something ... and you can see that there's a lot of love here now."
