Has anyone heard of him?

Thomas Stuer-Lauridsen (born April 29 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_29), 1971 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1971)) is a Danish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denmark) badminton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badminton) player.
He is pretty tall, 1.91 m
In 1992 Olympic MS, he crushed Rashid Sidek 15-2 ,15-8 :eek:
He was only 21 year old that time.

He has resigned after the olympics and will now concentrate on his own firm that has something to do with golf merchandise.

Thomas career was partly destroyed by serious injuries. He made it to the semi final in WC 1995 where he had won the first set and lead comfortable in the second. Then he sprained his ankle or so. After that he never really reached his best level and retired 3-4 years later in for an european early age.
