Hey has anyone brought or tried the Carlton Balokok. Its basically the idea that a ballon is placed inside a shuttle to help dictate its flight (basically Carlton is trying to come up with an idea that reduces the cost of top quality badminton). Plastic Shuttle with a ballon inside mmmm....

This is what it says in Badminton Magazine...
''the aim is to produce a plastic skirt which will last several sessions of badminton and a refill ballon which will last one session. The refill ballon restores the correct flight and speed to a plastic shuttlecock skirt''

Top players who have tested the Balakok have found that although it does not feel exactly the same as a feather shuttlecock, it is equally controllable, particularly at the net. This product is being tested at the National Badminton Centre.

Apparently when struck the shuttle makes a loud crack :p
