The main thing about this racket is that it's light also being very head-light. This allows good snapping with the wrist producing fast shots. For the more powerful shots i.e Smashes, a higher tension of string is needed due to the head-light factor. I use BG 70 pro at 23 pounds, gives quite a punch! :) Smashes can be very powerful however the right techique is needed along with good timing, something not very easily produced. A very good racket for doubles, not too bad for singles. Faking shots with this is very good coz the fast swing produced. Defending is also a easy job. Gives very good control, especially at the net. Takes quite some time to get used to because it's not often Yonex produce head-light rackets, overall weight is about 93 grams. Ideally a racket for the fast pace player who has the skill of a good wrist. Good value for money, especailly if looking for a doubles racket. Cost in shops £40, UK price. Control: 9/10 Power: 7/10 Manoeuvrability: 10/10 Singles: 7/10 Doubles: 8.5/10 GRObFURSt 06-13-2002, 08:31 AM Thank You for that. And yes I have supperb smash timing and wrist ability. |
