KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia have already started their promotion campaign for the first leg of the Super Series next year even though this season’s action is nearing its climax.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), the hosts for the Proton Malaysian Open, have started selling for the championships scheduled for Jan 6-11 at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalail.
There is a special concession for students who will get to purchase a ticket for the quarter-final and semi-final action for RM10. And they just need to fork out RM13 for the final day.
Ticket prices for others have been priced between RM15 and RM45 from the quarter-final stage.
Tickets can be purchased at several official agents and counters of the Axcess Tickets, who hold the rights for the sales of the tickets.
The Axcess Tickets hotline number is 03-77115000 or they can be reached at events@axcess.com.my. Online booking can also be done at www.axcess.com.my.
This season’s finale, the inaugural Super Series Masters Finals, will be held in Kota Kinabalu from Dec 18-21.

Thats funny I book online and I was not given the choice. However the system did say the seats will be confirmed in 3 days time which is tomorrow. Hopefully it will ask me then...:confused:

No you cannot choose the seats. They are assign to you but you can choose what class you want to seat in, ie. low tier, upper tier (free seetings) or premium which have seats allocated to you once they confirm your booking.

From sina.com, it's more or less confirmed that Team CHN will skip the first 2 SS events of the year due to their annual winter training. This year, the training camp will be held in Chengdu, starting from 12/20 onwards.

Of course, other CHN players who are competing on their own are not going to join the training camp. They should be playing in the Malaysia SS 2009.
