...
..that's almost the entire Pelatnas & Djarum squads going to Holland (at least a few from 1st and most if not all of 2nd, 3rd & 4th teams)...Good for them!...Though, both places' training centers will be pretty empty by then, with the 1st team squad(s) playing elsewhere...
Anyway, hopefully all of them will go and won't be withdrawn at the last minute..:p

sorry if i'm too asking.. since when shendy/Meili back to pelatnas again?

I have been told that most may not go to Dutch Open as Visa processing will take 21 days..some players will be back next 2 weeks after China Open ( Greys, Nitya and Flandy)...some will play at Macau ...been told that they are struggling to get Denmark Visa on time..
I think Alvent is okay since he has no tournament to go.....

So DJARUM will prioritize GP tournament for Andre, it's understandable that both SS and GP Gold level are usually attended by top-names and chance to win title certainly becomes slimmer than GP.

Given that enormous squad, can we expect a whitewash in the Netherlands?

Hi Hauge,
Is this going to be a permanent partnership? is Rendra back to pelatnas? how about Frans? is he back in pelatnas with Shendy and only be playing mixed in the future?
Sorry for asking so much questions..:)
Thanks

Read Krisna's post in Fran/Rendra's thread. All 4 players will be returning to Pelatnas.
Pelatnas wants to prioritize Fran/Shendy to play in XD (with Fran ONLY concentrating on XD) with their high ranking. I think Mel/Shendy will also be part of Pelatnas's WD first-team player. Both pairs can play in Super Series events, starting from Denmark and French.
As for Rendra/Alvent, they will need to start winning at lower-level GPs.

I believe that many of INA Pelatnas will pull out in favour of DEN/French SS......it takes 21 days to process the visa

..either:
a. an all-INA Finals
or
b. a mix between INA vs. NED Finals
or
c. do you think it'll be an all-NED Finals??..

It wont be happening as INA squad all withdrew except from Djarum club......so no All INA final....tough for INA in WS ( Xu, Judith, Schenk) and MS ( Joachim, Lee tsuen Seng , Ayob, etc)

They are back to Pelatnas , officially after Bulgaria Open.
Since Luluk resigns and joined Japanese Club then Alvent will be paired with rendra.
Frans, I heard, will be focusing on XD with Shendy.
I hope that they can get Rendra also to play XD...he will be awesome..

:D The official hotel is the (new) Apollo Hotel in the city center, €120 a night for a room ;). Also less than a minute away from the KFC & Burger King, maybe a 100 meter walk :p. Supermarket also next door, about 20 meters away.

If they keep:
> Fran/Rendra
> Mel/Shendy
> Fran/Shendy
> Rendra/Mel
It would be a disaster because all of them will get tired and no fresh player to back-up

Well after last year's "wonderful" catering I'm sure they won't be very picky. They were cueing up outside in the cold at the fish-n-chips like stand quite often :p.

Well the alley is perfect for an 8 lane sprint ;).

Well... Dutch Open is an individual tournament, not a team tournament, we cannot send back-ups to play on their behalf...
These 4 doubles players are all ambitious and want to make a name for themselves... Dutch Open will be their 3rd tournament in a row, but they are all highly seeded... I don't expect them to face tough opponents until the very last few days... ;)
Furthermore, looking at the seedings and participant lists, this tournament size won't be too big... ;) They won't have to play too many rounds...
