Now showing the prize presentation. Yonex Chairman Ben Yoneyama presented the prizes/cheques. LCW looked a bit disappointed and sad in the beginning, but smiled at the end....The prize presentation gals look lovely, too, all dressed in kimonos...;)

Nothing amazes me more than the fact that when LCW won easily in the semi against Joachim, boleh fans sing his praises like mad. Then as soon as LCW lost tamely, the same boleh fans make excuses for him once again...eg. injury, not being himself, and etc... every time LCW lost, he had never been himself ever??? Is that a coincidence or what?:eek::rolleyes:

Nahh, LCW's loss is ok for me, could see the signs earlier in this tourney. He should take a longer break like the other top MS. His 1 week break was filled with all the activities.
And wow, this tourney's full of surprises :D, the WR#1 XD lost to their lower ranked team mates, Zhou Mi lost to the CHina youngster.

It's all over. Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen have won their first SS title today after beating Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan 21-17, 15-21, 21-13. Bona/Ahsan made too much unforced errors in the rubber-set (9 vs 2 for the Danish pair). Nevertheless, a tremendous week for them and hopefully will motivate them to improve further, starting from next week's tough encounter against Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo in the China Masters SS.
