Super Series rank or World rank ??? coz both are different Off-topic : China Open 2008 will be held on 18-23 November, not December. No basic difference between China Masters and China Open except title-sponsor and venue/location. Just for info, China Masters is quite new badminton tournament in BWF calendar, its inaugural event was 2005. Meanwhile China Open had been established since 1980's. Seeding position is determined by World Ranking. SS rank is only used to determine Super Series Grand Final participant (only top-8 of each disclipine will be qualified to participate it). hiltonmoreira9 09-23-2008, 04:28 AM Go Sony ! go get your 3rd superseries title! it is a gift for your Aidil Fitri LOL hcyong 09-23-2008, 08:19 AM Off-topic : China Open 2008 will be held on 18-23 November, not December. We can say that China Open is for 650 million people, and China Masters is for another 650 million people. Both China tournaments are separated by geography, usually one in the north and one in the south. Table tennis is also similar. leonardklh 09-23-2008, 10:09 AM withdrawal of china masters: Lee Chong Wei Wong Mew Choo Lin Dan Jiang Yan Jiao Guo Zhen Dong Wei Yi Li huangkwokhau 09-23-2008, 06:24 PM withdrawal of china masters: Lee Chong Wei Wong Mew Choo Lin Dan Jiang Yan Jiao Guo Zhen Dong Wei Yi Li Hm....so no Xie Zhongbo/Guo Zhen dong and zhang ya wen/Wei yi Li then?
