It has been around for many years already.. Its available in few countries i guess.
Its very effective provided that your sole is not TOo dusty.,

My father just bought one for me at mybadmintonstore, in HongKong. I'll test it out once I get it.

I tried it, it wasn't that effective. Maybe I'd have to clean the soles with a damp cloth first, then spray it on and.. do I have to dry it ?

It smells awful. It contains LPG.

I think it is best just to wash your soles with a wet towel.

on especially bad floors i wipe some gatorade on my shoes as a temporary measure (i make sure to scrub it off afterwards)
this works rediculously well IMO

This is probably because of the sugar in the gatorade making the sole stickier.

Haha.. might as well put some sugar+water in some random spray-bottle and use it instead then.

I'd like to have one foot sticky and another not. When I fall out to the front my racket hand foot must glide a little more forward, then I'm faster ;)

so how does this work again?Do you clean the sole and then spray? Do you let it dry or should it be wet?

You just spray it directly onto the dusty soles and then use it, even if it's wet. the wetter, the tackier. just make sure that the soles aren't too dusty.

sounds interesting, i might try and get it. The courts i play on suck, it's the same court as basketball so it's really slippery. I almost snapped my ankle today doing footwork drills.
