eslilin 10-18-2008, 03:39 AM I'd really like to try Babolat. Tennis racket are good. I hope same goes for Badminton. Too many fake makes me ditch Yonex. I'm on Victor now.
Arceid 10-18-2008, 05:51 AM Babolat rackets are very popular in france. Many friends of mine are using them, and they're really good. They're mostly doing good overall and attacking racket.
Arceid
quik_silver 10-20-2008, 08:21 PM Wow Babolat is really trying to drive Yonex users to their brand.
*and apparently, i found on e78.com.hk they have babolat racquets already :S so does it mean it's for 2009 ??
ystian 10-29-2008, 02:38 AM I couldn't find any Babolat badminton rackets in Malaysia.
I've called Malaysia's distributor but still unsure whether they want to import the racket or not.

tcy148 11-08-2008, 06:36 PM I've just recently bought a Satelite Star (you can read about it on my thread).
Which one would be the equivalant to th Star? How do the X-Feel series compare to the Satelite models? Are these suppose to be the new "high end" racquets from babolat? Do they use the same technology as the Satelites?
Sorry for so many questions. haha!

The top frame section is black color. So, should be X-feel Power.
Anyone know which online shop sells this X-feel series?

shuttle-house already have it. But because of the Yen to strong right now, will be too expensive to buy from them.
I've emailed to mybadlookbad.com, they said they will have x feel's series in a month time

I don't have a preference. I got all 4 (one of each). :)
dohma1993 12-12-2008, 05:31 PM which of these resemble the arc10 the most?
whats the prices for these in CAD?
what are the specs for the racquets...i couldn't find anything online x_x
Sharp 12-16-2008, 06:25 AM I'll be very keen to try the new 09 Babolats out, possibly the one that Ah_Shum said felt like the AT700 - I'm currently going through the process of sampling different rackets at the moment, although I haven't as yet seen the new models in the UK yet.
One of the guys in my club is sponsored by them so if he's there on Thursday evening I'll collar him and find out when they'll have samples to test.

x-feel blast will come closest of the 4..u can find those @ "da store"..:o
ilovedude 12-16-2008, 10:14 AM Hey, the x-feel lite is not bad, besides I also like the hybrid grommet design.
BadFever 12-16-2008, 05:08 PM Only thing I didn't enjoy about these rackets was stringing them. The gaps between each strings goes from wide to narrow in the middle(unlike Yonex constant width). The wide part is so hard to clamp. Overall playing experience for me is pretty good, more towards arm playing style.
weinsteinium 02-03-2009, 12:28 PM im actually realli impressed by the performance of these rackets..heh~..well here goes..the similarities

Correct me if I'm wrong but you are saying that the Essential is more powerful than the Power. I have to say that I'm surprised because the Power is rated as being more powerful on the Babolat site.
But then again they are rating power versus control and I don't really see how those are opposites.
More powerful thant the ns9000 while being lighter is pretty high praise for the Essential!
Interesting names for rackets. :) Looks good too.
Sharp 02-03-2009, 02:49 PM I'll be interested to know when you can get them in the UK!
tcy148 02-03-2009, 03:56 PM Apparantly they will be here in March. Tennisnuts.com have already got the new 09 Satelite series. So i'd imagine the X-Feel to be out soon too...
Hopefully...
Sharp 02-03-2009, 05:31 PM Tennisnuts.com have had the 09 Babolat Satelite range for quite a while now, so it is time the X Feels' were also bought out. I might try and speak to the UK distributors and see if they can shed any light on the matter.
After all this expectation I hope the X Feel Blast 09 is better (for my playing style) than the Satelite Nitro 09! On the website they both seem to be rated in the same position on power, but as previously mentioned, the Blast is slightly longer and slightly heavier than the Nitro.
Has anyone managed to make direct comparisons between the two already?
tcy148 02-16-2009, 01:34 PM Ok, i think i'm lucky enough to get one of these for my birthday soon. :D
But i'm kinda stuck on which one to choose! However, I have decided either the Power or the Essential.
As i've said before I'm using a Satelite Star just now, and i love it, but it just lacks power as it's too flexible for me.
The Power is stiffer and ever so slightly heavier, so i'd imagine it to be more powerful than the Essential, but from what Ah_Shum has said: the Essential is a more powerful version of the NS9000 (which i kinda like). Whilst the Power is only similar to the Arc7/ NS8000? I'm slightly confused... haha :S
The Essential (290mm) also appears to be slightly more head heavier than the Power (285mm - same as my Satelite Star).
Also, where would be the best place to buy from? I live in the UK, so i need them to ship here. I've found either Tenniszon.com and e78.com.hk.
As you can see, i have already done thorough research on these racquets, but i need some more info. I am generally looking for more power though.
Any info would be great!
Sealman 03-02-2009, 03:15 AM i realised the sides of the x-feel blast are grommet-less, similar to the wilson n2/n4/n6. will the strings break? i read in the equipment forum that the wilson racquets required special stringing techniques. does this also apply to the babolats?
stevemariyoh 03-08-2009, 07:44 PM If I am not mistaken this barnd is usually for tennis racquet but now they expand their products to badminton also. So far, Yeoh Kay Bin (MAS) and Tina Rasmusssen (DEN) is using this brand. I don't know which model but it is BABOLAT brand. Maybe they are other player using this brand too but I only know this two.:)
teoky 03-08-2009, 08:52 PM There are more players using Babolat :
1) Tine Rasmussen - X-Feel Essential
2) Pi Hongyan - X-Feel Power
3) Jochim Pearsson - X-Feel Blast
Smichz 03-09-2009, 11:07 AM I'm getting my babolat satelite nitro in 2 days..any one have tried to use that racket?Opinion please..
Easy Tiger 04-15-2009, 05:32 PM I just tried a Booster Lite last night with Ashaway strings at 25lbs and I really, really liked it!
The guy who owns it says it's not his 'go to' racket and he prefers it for doubles, but I played singles with it and after about 5 minutes of weirdness was wielding it like an axe!
It feels weird in the hand when you first pick it up...hard to describe.....it does feel short and a bit wooden....but after a few minutes when you get your timing back and dial in the sweet spot, it's a very versatile racket.
I'd say the power was a bit down on my Head M8k tour, but it transitions, drops....it was just so accurate too.
Anyway, I notice the Booster Lite is an old model, so what would the equivalent be in the new range? X-Feel Lite?
shinn 04-24-2009, 11:09 AM got a booster lite and booster ti. the booster range rackets is shorter than your typical yonex by about 1-2 cm.
my booster ti is stringed at 27lbs. its an old model but my go to racket coz its best for doubles. though u dont have the range of your normal racket, it does allow for a bit of a faster response.
yea it's like wielding an axe. not the best racket for net play but allows for quick cross courts and smashes if your opponent does a mistake.
thinking of getting the satellite nitro later
Easy Tiger 04-24-2009, 06:14 PM Yeah, same here. Trying to track one down is proving to be a bit tricky though.
siaosiaosin 04-24-2009, 06:31 PM where can i get a babolat racket in sg?
teoky 04-24-2009, 07:22 PM Babolat badminton racquets not available in SG.
shinn 04-24-2009, 08:31 PM its available mainly in european countries. doubt it will be available in SEA for a few years.
i'm in nz so i can get it....however the price of the racket isnt very forgiving on the pocket...
teoky 04-24-2009, 09:35 PM I was told initially that Babolat badminton racquets might be available in SGP through the usual suspect but seems there was a change of mind in bringing them in.
Anyway, you can get it from HK, it isn't that expensive, costs around S$140.
SAMUDERAINDIA 04-24-2009, 09:43 PM I bought Babolat booster max last month, it really great racket.
I ditched my yonex AT700 since. Here in vietnam it cost around 70 USD. while my AT700 cost me 160 USD. Shud have bought 2 or 3 babolat instead.

Any suggestions for HK stores that carry them and might ship internationally? They aren't available in the US either.

try misterkeen. they have babolat. mksg2@biznetvigator.com
Easy Tiger 04-24-2009, 11:32 PM Geez, if you can get one of the X-Feels for SGD140, that's the bargain of the century seeing I'm looking down the barrel of SGD340 if I buy them retail here in Australia. I've e-mailled e78 and I'll post their prices when I get them.
If anyone finds any prices on the X-Feels or Satelites, post em up here.
Easy Tiger 04-24-2009, 11:44 PM Okay, I managed to navigate my way around that abortion e78 calls a website, and looks like the following Babolat prices are on there (http://www.e78.com.hk/sports.htm) :
X-Feels - HKD965/SGD185/AUD172
Satelites - HKD660/SGD127/AUD118
weinsteinium 04-25-2009, 12:17 AM try misterkeen. they have babolat. mksg2@biznetvigator.com

weinsteinium 04-25-2009, 11:27 PM yes its a reputable shop, i have purchase my shb100mx and two shirts there, quick servicing
How expensive was international shipping?
Easy Tiger 04-26-2009, 12:13 AM Well, if it's HKD123 to Australia, then probably about the same to California.
That's a paltry USD15 if you can't work it out. :p
teoky 04-26-2009, 02:01 AM Yes, you can get Mizuno TC series cheaper in HK than in Japan !

You were probably in shock like I was :)
Looks like I might just have to get myself an X-Feel Essential and a TC700!
shinn 04-27-2009, 05:00 AM easy_tiger: its alot cheaper then getting it from rebel sports which rip ppl off
Easy Tiger 04-27-2009, 05:07 AM I know. Rebel is pretty good for clothing at the moment, but rackets and stuff?
300 bucks for a YY NS9000S anyone?
shinn 04-27-2009, 05:11 AM the do stock the satellite syncho and the x-feel essential.....and when i called them and asked if they have nitro they say they dont stock it......so contradicting
and its like 260nzd for 1
Easy Tiger 04-27-2009, 10:36 PM Which is why god invented Hong Kong!
Seriously, I can't remember the last time I bought anything local.
Well, except food.
shinn 04-28-2009, 12:26 AM does anyone know how long it will take for the racket to arrive if ordered online??
Easy Tiger 04-28-2009, 12:45 AM from where to where?
shinn 04-28-2009, 01:23 AM hk to nz? or to aussie....
Easy Tiger 04-28-2009, 01:35 AM I had rackets EMS'd to me from Thailand (mybadlookbad) to Melbs it took only 3 days. Regular post would be around 5-7. Don't see why it should take any longer than that from HK.
jrjrdinh 05-11-2009, 01:15 AM where can i buy a babolat blast from? online somewhere? I'm from California USA so I'm just wondering how can I find one, I only can find the satelite series on sale.
Easy Tiger 05-11-2009, 02:12 AM e78 in Hong Kong has them, as does Maxsports in Canada.
I know there are more but I've forgotten.
weinsteinium 05-11-2009, 10:54 AM e78 in Hong Kong has them, as does Maxsports in Canada.

There doesn't appear to be a US distributor for Babolat's badminton racquets so your choices are Canada or Asia. I believe that Tenniszon.com in Canada is cheaper than Maxsports but I think that e78 has the best price.
Easy Tiger 05-11-2009, 05:33 PM Tennison wants a lot for the shipping, but if it was just going to the US then it should be pretty reasonable.
huangxl 06-09-2009, 08:43 AM How high tension can they take? i know rec is 22lbs rite
Dansk 06-19-2009, 10:23 PM How high tension can they take? i know rec is 22lbs rite
According to the spec. sheet, the suggested tension is 20-25lbs. I think it can sustain up to 30lbs without any problems.
teoky 06-20-2009, 01:58 AM My x-feel power is on 26lbs, no issues. It seems capable of higher tension than that.
Easy Tiger 06-20-2009, 04:42 AM How do you like the X-Feel Power?
huangxl 06-20-2009, 06:41 AM Getting my X feel power next week. Cannot wait to string it with BG 80. If it is good i will also buy x blast to try
teoky 06-20-2009, 08:14 AM @easytiger
I like the x-feel power alot, it may not be the most offensive or most defensive but it has a nice solid feel.
@huangxl
where did u get it from?
Dansk 06-20-2009, 08:59 PM I have got my x-feel power from e78. I strung it with Babolat Hyperbraid Micro (0.67mm) at 24lbs. I was stupid that I didn't request for Babolat Hyperbraid (0.7mm) or Hyperbraid Hi-life (0.72) string (not sure whether they have it in stock). I have only tried to hit the shuttlecock a few times at home. The sound is very nice when you hit the sweet spot. Otherwise, the sound is strange. I look forward to trying it in badminton courts.
huangxl 06-20-2009, 11:25 PM I got mine from indonesia Buanasports. My wife is from indo so i can ask them to help me buy whenever they go back
fhfsmasher_96 06-21-2009, 04:16 AM since last week..my collection is complete..lol but haven't had time to post pics
Didn't noe tat babolat is so focused on badminton , but there is no much distrubutor here in Singapore?:)
huangxl 06-23-2009, 07:53 PM Cannot get babolat x series in singapore. And prices of racket in singapore is expensive. I get mine from hk or indo.
teoky 06-24-2009, 03:08 AM Didn't noe tat babolat is so focused on badminton , but there is no much distrubutor here in Singapore?:)
They are not focused on badminton or rather the distributor here is not focused on bringing in Babalot badminton racquets.
huangxl 06-25-2009, 08:51 PM Hi teoky,
how is the feel of X Feel Power compare to Arc10? I used to use MP99 and i feel the feel of the racket is better than Arc10. To me, the feel of the shuttle from arc10 is not there like mp99. Hope this X Feel Power is better than Arc10 in terms of feel
alana07 06-26-2009, 10:00 PM Didn't noe tat babolat is so focused on badminton , but there is no much distrubutor here in Singapore?:)
just saw a couple pieces of the babolat satellite energy rackets at royal sporting house outlet in jurong point last night, prices around $130ish..;)
Dansk 06-28-2009, 11:27 PM I tried my X-feel power yesterday. The feeling is very good. The original grip is very very comfortable but very prone to dirts because it is white. I think it is much better than YY. The racket is very light. It's easy to serve, clear and drop. You can swing easily as it is so light. When I hit the shuttle, I don't feel any vibration at all. But my string was broken after 30 mins play (Babolat Hyperbraid Micro 0.67mm). I think it was caused by mis-hit. I couldn't try it longer.
I will restring it with Gosen Pro 70 and try again later. So far I like this racket very much. It is very easy to maneuver.
teoky 06-29-2009, 12:09 AM yup! Like i said, feeling of Babolat X-Feel is very good, that's why i am considering get the blast.
huangxl 06-29-2009, 02:13 AM Just String mine about 1 hour ago. Only can get a chance to try on sunday. Initial feeling is it is very light but the frame is very thick like mp99 and not like arc 10. Reason for the stiffness is shaft is thicker than arc 10. May considering getting another X Power or Blast after further testing
Dansk 06-29-2009, 06:06 AM Teoky and Huangxl, what string do you use?
I went to e78 yesterday to restring mine with Gosen Pro 70. I am used to Yonex BG80. I haven't tried it before. I hope it is similar to BG80.
I originally wanted to string it with Yonex BG70 Pro but e78 did not have it in white. It only had yellow. I think white looks better on X-feel series.
huangxl 06-29-2009, 06:11 AM I just strung mine with bg85 at 24lbs. But i haven try it yet so i cannot give u a review of it
Dansk 06-29-2009, 06:34 AM The boss of e78 told me Babolat Hyperbraid Micro is similar to BG85. They both are 0.67mm. I also string it at 24lbs. It may also not be durable.
What is the color of your string?
huangxl 06-29-2009, 07:43 AM White. The color you wanted. I couldn't decide between 85 or 80. In the end plunge for 85

Mine is NBG98 Gold color.
The X-Feel looks good with white string and white grip.
Dansk 06-29-2009, 10:08 AM Yeah, the X-Feel really looks great with white string and white grip but I am afraid the grip will look ugly if it becomes dirty some time later.
I think NGB98 is too expensive. I would go for BG80 instead if I choose Yonex strings.
I wonder how it looks like if it is with gold strings. Can you post any pics of it?
Sternschnuppe 06-30-2009, 05:41 AM this gold colour of nanogy strings looks totally ugly in my opinion.
BadFever 06-30-2009, 08:05 PM Just strung my X-Feel Blast. The good thing about it's 20/21 string pattern is I can tension with 25/25lbs whilst retaining the shape (no need 10% increase on cross). But I hate the big gap between strings on top and bottom...too hard to clamp.
Easy Tiger 07-01-2009, 01:33 AM Where'd you get yours from?
BadFever 07-01-2009, 01:39 AM Where'd you get yours from?
www.e78.com.hk (why on earth do i have to type 15 characters:confused:)

What string did you string it?
I think you ordered a bare racket from e78 without string. How much did you pay for the racket? Is it cheaper?
Yesterday, I saw 2 guys bought X-Feel Power at e78. It seems this racket becomes more and more popular in HK:)

String = Ashaway Powergut 0.66 Tension = 25/25lbs 1PTB
Yes bare racket as I string myself. I can't remember how much I paid. I bought it Christmas week last year when first available. I got from e78 cos I don't know any other place. No chance to play with it yet.
I played with the X-Feel Essential before and it's too flexible to my liking.
huangxl 07-01-2009, 09:27 PM Hi all, just tested my X Feel Power last night and here are my thoughts.
Racket: Babolat X Feel Power
Weight: 86g
Balance Point: 285
String: Yonex BG 85 at 24lbs
Grip: Yonex Super Grap White
This is a very light racket compare to my Arc10. The material feels different from Yonex when you hold it. The material seems to feel like those used for tennis racket and when you frame the shuttle with it. The sound you get is different. The frame thickness is like MP99 and not as thin as Arc10.
Clear and drives were effortless but still lacking abit in smashing as probably the head is not heavy as arc10, you need to put in a bit more effort when smashing. The vibration dampening is very good even when you give it a hard smash. However, probably due to the vibration dampening, the feel of the shuttle is not as good as my old mp99. Shots were accurate and i had no problem landing the shuttle on the line successfully last night.
All in all, the X Feel Power is a great racket at its' price. I would say that it offers better defence than arc10 as it cuts the air faster and without sacrificing too much in power. The other thing is I do not know how fast the shaft will become flexible until I play longer with it. I have to play with it more to give a better review of it. Maybe X Blast will be better as the head heaviness and extra stiffness will be the perfect combination for my game.
SAMUDERAINDIA 07-01-2009, 09:36 PM IN my opinion babolat make wonderful racket
i have 2 of them, Booster max and satelite comet
It's great racket, really nice to play, and cheap compare to comparable yonex racket
I broke my AT700 without reason(no clash), and I had many clashes with my babolat but it still going strong
Now I retired my another At700 and always use babolat
I really like to try new x feel series, but with current price tag it will be difficult
Sealman 07-02-2009, 02:11 AM huangxl, in your opinion is the x-feel blast more 'demanding' than the x-feel power?
Easy Tiger 07-02-2009, 02:30 AM Hi all, just tested my X Feel Power last night and here are my thoughts.....Maybe X Blast will be better as the head heaviness and extra stiffness will be the perfect combination for my game.
Isn't the Power stiffer than the Blast?
huangxl 07-02-2009, 03:36 AM I haven't got the chance to try X Blast. But according to Babolat website. It is 2g heavier, rated extra stiff and balance point of 290 as compared to X Power. In my review i said that you need to put in abit more effort to generate smash. That's why I am thinking the extra weight will help. However if your game is more about defending. I believe this is a good racket for the price. Light yet able to generate sufficient power and user able to generate a fast swing speed easily. Stiffness is also just nice.
Anyway, I might get X Blast later. Not in the near future. My wife will give me the "X Blast" for buying so many rackets.
huangxl 07-02-2009, 03:55 AM Oh i forget to point out. Babolat racket has a longer shaft. Abit like the Ti 10 or AT 700.
teoky 07-02-2009, 04:51 AM Isn't the Power stiffer than the Blast?
Blast is the stiffest and most head heavy racquet in the X-Feel lineup.
BlueBanana 07-02-2009, 06:04 AM I have X-Feel Blast in my arsenal and i must say it is the most powerful racket and one of the stiffest i have ever had in 26LB Babolat Hyperbraid Micro 0.67mm. Below is the comparison btw Babolat X-Feel Blast, Mizuno TC700 Yonex AT700:
Specification:
Babolat X-Feel Blast
Babolat Hyperbraid Micro 0.67mm 26LB, Babolat Pro Tour overgrip, 675mm, 3U/G5 final BP:~290mm
Mizuno Tetracross 700
Gosen R4x200 0.66mm 26LB, Babolat Pro Team Tacky overgrip, 675mm, 3U/G4, final BP:~300mm
Yonex AT 700
BG-66 0.66mm 26LB, Toalson Volcanic overgrip, 3U/G5, final BP:~305mm
Review:
1) Aesthetics:
Babolat X-Feel Blast is a beautifully constructed racket with an excellent white paint work with black and red patch on the head and a very exquisite silver hologram butt cap. Mizuno Tetracross 700 feels equally solid with a green theme that has a lasting impression though you will always think green reminds you of a certain special public holiday in our calendar :) However paint work seems a little rough. Of course AT700 needs no mention..juicy fiery red. Thus IMHO,
(Most beautiful) Blast->AT700->TC700
2) Head heaviness:
It doesnt really reflect on their respective actual weight, but this is what i feel:
(heaviest)AT700->TC700->Blast(least heavy)
3) Stiffness:
TC700 and Blast are the stiffest rackets i have ever handled by miles though i haven tried NS9000X and NS9900. They are so stiff that you need some good psychomotor movement, muscles and technique to put it to good use. Rather unforgiving and steeper adapting period than normal for me.
(Stiffest)TC700=Blast->AT700(least stiff)
4) Lobs/Clears:
All are excellent and special mention must be given to Babolat X-Feel Blast as they are almost effortless and yet flew miles out of court! This tiger needs some taming.
5) Smashes:
I'm personally known for power in my smashes for reasons unknown to myself :) Because of the stiffest, swing technique, speed and even the place you grip needs some adjustment. As i was abit reluctant to fully snap my wrists during smashes, smashes with TC700 and Blast gave a rather flat trajectory rather than the usual sharp straight down ones that i have no problem with AT700. Maybe this is due to my wayward technique? All rackets have the same shaft length if i am not wrong. However TC700 has a slightly longer handle, about 1/3 of a cone longer. TC700 seems to have a slightly smaller sweet spot. It could be due to the longer handle that you have to make adjustments to? Both Blast and TC700 have swings that i cannot easily get used to somehow unlike AT700 which works like a charm. Verdict: All are monsters if you get the sweet spot right.
6) Drives:
Excellent "whipping" feel in AT700. But trouble adjusting TC700 and Blast. Stiffness problem?
(Easy) AT700->Blast->TC700
7) Defence:
Don't be intimidate by the "head heavy" balance of Tetracross 700, amazingly it is very much more maneuverable than you would imagine. Perhaps the slightly longer handle forces you to hold really high up in doubles that gives me the maneuverable feel? AT700 is simply so dreadful in this department.
(Easy)TC700->Blast->AT700(difficult)
8) Power:
I really have problems taming Babolat X-Feel Blast. I do not know if it's bcos of the hyperbraid. Almost every lob/lift with Blast in my normal strength were miles out of boundary. I have a feeling the fact i am not very used to Gosen R4x200 on Tetracross 700 didnt give me the extra power that everyone is talking about.
Blast->AT700=TC700
Verdict:
I must say AT700 is better suited for singles as maneuverability is pretty poor while the other 2 are reasonably good all round rackets. All of them are power crazy monsters but AT700 is easier to adapt for me perhaps due to the less stiff shaft. All rackets requires some strong arms to play with. AT700 feels the most head heavy but maybe due to the less stiff shaft it somehow absorbs the impact while you get the full force of the impact using the other 2.
As all of them have their merits and weaknesses, it depends on what you are suited and looking for. For me, i prefer the maneuverability of Tetracross 700 than AT700 but if i were a singles player, i would have picked AT700.
Dansk 07-04-2009, 10:30 AM I have played with my X-Feel Power again for an hour after re-stringing it with Gosen Pro 70. Net play is easy and accurate. It is also easy to smash. I feel it is quite easy to generate power in smashing. I think it is powerful. It is easier to generate power than MP99 maybe due to the grip is shorter. It is more comfortable to hold the X-Feel Power. I think it makes me smash harder easily. I am very satisfied with it.
huangxl 07-07-2009, 12:24 AM Dansk. Is it because of the increase in swing speed? For me, i feel that power is not sufficient compare to my other rackets (Read Arc 10, MP99 and Ti 10) as head not heavy enough but there is a lot increase in swing speed. I need the extra push to get more power. But net play was excellent. For me i feel this is more of a control racket than power racket.
Dansk 07-07-2009, 06:30 AM Swing speed maybe one of the reason as the racket is so light. I also think it makes me easier to concentrate the power when I hit the shuttle. I think MP99 is a bit heavy after using X-Feel Power.
According to the spec. sheet, Both X-Feel Blast and X-Feel Power are for offensive play but X-Feel Power is not as stiff as Blast and not head heavy. It is classified as an all rounder but offensive racket.
I held X-Feel Blast on hand on Sunday. I just tried to see how it feels. I think it is too stiff for me. I feel that I am holding an iron rod on hand. I don't like the feeling and it is head heavy. It may not be easy to maneuver it. X-Feel Power should be more user friendly.
huangxl 07-07-2009, 07:06 PM I see. Thanks for sharing. As i like to have more control and less power for my racket. Guess i will give X Blast a skip
shinn 07-20-2009, 04:57 AM i'm just waiting for my Babolat Satellite Energy and Solar to come from e78....
must say they do respond quite fast bought them both for 1515HKD.....
will review them next week when they come...i think it takes about a week for it to arrive.
hand itchy for the racket
its a flexible and a mid flex racket....look it up at the babolat website.
shinn 08-06-2009, 08:47 AM got my babolat solar and energy already for 2 weeks......
sad to say i snapped my string for the solar......too much smashin i guess
but to review
solar is light weight....alot lighter than my other rackets going at 82g and very flexible. strung at 24lbs and very good as smashes. had a bit of getting used to becasue smashing was more powerful than usual. it was ok for net play not great but good enough but because of the light weight made it a bit harder to do cross court net plays. since its very flexible it does give that slingshot effect like a heavy head
energy is heavy head racket. feels a bit heavier than solar and well balanced for net and smashing. not so sure wat it was strung at but well it is lasting longer than my solar......no money to restring solar now. would say it is better for control coz it made cross court plays easier.
solar - light weight, excellent for smashing, average for net plays(control)
energy - heavy head, good for smashing, very good for net plays(control)
could just be me but i prefer a bit of a weight on the head for net plays
