you can buy stencils (paint for strings)
at ur local pro-shop
and instead of painting the company logo that they intend you to paint on
you can just paint her initials on
or even her full name if you like

you will need to restring your racket if you have paint on it already
and then you use ur stencil to paint what you want
on strings that haven't been stenciled before
before you stencil
you should have a piece of hard paper
and cut the area that you want to paint
and just cover ur racket with ur paper so the paint won't get anywhere else

shoot, that's not a bad idea, put your initials on it, then you'll know the racket is yours.

I think it's best to cut the current string off and restring it with your GF favourite string and stencil here initials in black or red stencil. on the string.

i've seen people do more than initials, aka the superman logo, spiderman's face, pikachu, etc.

So sweet... the last time I bought a racket for my wife (2 days ago), I just gave it to her vanilla. The only customisation I did was to wrap her grip the way she wanted. :D

Logo is good for the outlook, but it may affect the playability of the string. So,which one to choose??

when i used Ashaway micro power mp i found that it broke easier but could have just been coincidence but it didnt break where the colour was hmmmmm probably just my bad hitting, i didnt find it affected the string at all control wise or power

The only way to cover up the stencil is to colour all the string in the same colour as the stencil but that would be stupid.

okie so agian do i HAVE to re-string it? or can i just cover the OG image with white stencil ink and then go over with my stencil with another color ink or will this ruin the strings?

From what i know there is no white stencil. The stencil would cost more than the restringing so just restring it.

well i mean the paint to paint over the strings with white stencil paint(i have found some at a tennis shop) does the paint make the strings weak or something someone had said
so.. could i just buy a racket paint it all white let it dry and then just add my design with blk or red stencil paint?

stencil give the string less control since it makes the area where you stencil slippery.

i see.. but other then that i can still do my idea or will it make the racket useless?

you know what would look cool, different colored grommets. Why can't they make red or blue or white grommets?

so the stencil paint won't damage the strings

so the stencil paint won't damage the strings

From what i know there is no damage unless the stencil was alcohol base then it would damage the string.
