I've been saving up these few months to be able to afford buying the MP 100. I need help from those who have bought it in Singapore. Where is the best place to buy that particular model? Bras Basah? Queensway? Peninsula? Maximum price I should pay?
Byro-Nenium, lim, viper? Help......!!?!!!

Well i can't really help you too much on this one Tony but have you actually found the racket itself? I've only seen it in 1 shop and thats the 1 at Centrepoint. The shop that i was talking about having a largest range of badminton rackets in Singapore. But anyways, they sell the MP 100. Your gonna freak when i tell you the price...... But i don't know the price exactly. $300+

I don't think the shop that i normally go to at bras basah even sells this racket. The woman there has a serious problem against Yonex. She tells everyone to buy Ashaway, Fleet or Winex instead. She says they have better quality. I think i'll post a thread on this.

Thanks Byro! I know of a shop at Hougang Sports Hall that sells the racket. Just wanted to compare prices first before deciding where to buy it from. I'll go check out the shops in the next few days and let you know my findings!

S$300 is because it comes with a package that include a pair of shoe, and a polo shirt and some other thing. S$185 is just the
racket by itself. You can get it at Sembawang Shopping Centre, #02-14. The shop name is Artric Pacific Sports. I get my badminton stuff from them. Their price are very good compare to other sports shop. BTW Byro, I ever been to the shop at Centerpoint. Their price are really very high.

kwun, it seem interest in pricing is quite high here. May i suggest a creating a another catergory under Product Review for people posting badminton supplies prices from various shops and region around the globe. Beside, one day maybe some retailers may even consider posting their ad's here once they learn so many potential badminton customers are lurking here.

ugh.

you are welcome to post good deals in this forum. if i open up a venue specificly for posting about prices and shops, then there will inevitibly be people stepping on each other... i have seen similar thing happened in another forum. the site eventually had to close down that forum.

as for real banner type advertising, maybe, but considering the (still) low traffic on this site, and how much overhead i have to spend managing it, i don't see that coming anytime soon....

guys, just keep on coming back and contributing to this community. good badminton friends is worthwhile enough for me to keep this site running.

cheers.

Can't blame ya kwun. Some people get too emotional on the subject of money. I dont frequent new racquets for sake of a newer model. So price is not too a major issue for me. It is better to find the right racquet than try to find a lowest cost one.

I do like to point out that websites with price surveys for pc hardwares (CPU, HD, MB, VC, digital camera, etc) have done quite well.

180 sing dollars, wow, that's cheap. In UK it cost 120 pounds (Special offer!!) which is about 300 sing.dollars!!
