In MS, I think Adi has a slim chance against Wang.
That cannot be said for Linda. I don't think she has a chance against Saina
In MD, Ryan and Yohanes has to capitalise on a tired Hee Chun. However, beating the Asian Junior Champions are not easy.
In WD, beating the energetic Japanese will not be easy
In XD, Hee Chun and Vivian have been fairly impressive this tournament. Hard to be beat them.

Although I'm disappointed with the fact that 4 of 5 INA reps were down in QF so far, considering they have very few flight hour in int'l tourneys, this QF result is already beyond expectation (at least for me).
Especially that they managed to score some upsets against some top seedings on their way into QF.

PBSI should send them to int'l tourneys more frequently, just like what BAM does to their juniors.
I'm pretty sure I've seen Mak/Teo and Mak/Vivian names in several GP and even SS tournaments. And their results were not disappointing, IMHO.

Exactly what I mean.
MAS coaches see their potential, and keep improving them. Now, MAS is enjoying the yield: dozens of good, young MDs. Some in the making.

However, (this is my silly opinion) INA players are late bloomers. So-so when below their 20s, then rock the world after 20.
AFAIK, Kido/Hendra didn't win any WJC in their junior ages (if I'm not mistaken, they were paired up when they're around 20).
But, look, who is the reigning world MD #1, WC champ, and newly-crowned OG gold medalist?
