Dear all,

I wonder if you have the same problem! Ever since I discovered this wonderful web site about badminton, I just can't stop myself logining here everytime I am online....and often unconsciously I'd waste...well spend hours in here just browsing through people's threads or attempting to post some myself.......why........I DON'T KNOW!! maybe because i am so into badminton yet I am not as good.....

The other thing I'd like to mention here is that this is the most complete, organized and user-friendly badminton web I have ever seen before!! I really have gained enormous knowledge of badminton here, thanks to the people who have created this web site.

So whoever the boss is, please don't make this web any better as I'll probably spend my whole life in here and fail my exams.....:D

Internet is amazing....10 years ago if I wanted to know everything about badminton, it would probably take me a couple of weeks or longer to search for my answers(plus there weren't that many badminton books around, even now!) but now you can hear people's valuable comments from all over the world with just one click on the mouse.........isn't that amazing!

yes. in the short 3 yrs that BC's been around, there has been a lot of very good discussions archived in the old posts. take the time and dig out these gems. and if you think some of the advice is good enough for an entry in the FAQ. write down what they are and let me know.

Hmm... maybe we should create a special forum for some "classic" old threads that are particularly worth reading. In fact, a bit like the articles forum.

Another thing I was thinking about is perhaps in the guest book, if it's possible, can we place like a map so that ppl can pinpoint where they are playing badminton at? I think it would be cool to see the map and see like these bright red dots all over the world..it'll also show the vastness of BC and BF influence :)

As many of you know, 1 sec. of a movie consists of 24 pictures. Using a related technology, Kwun has managed to put in a picture which can only be seen by our subconsience, telling us to return to badmintonforum at least 4 times per day ( in my case, even more!)
Using hightech equip in uni -lab , i have found these messages:

Just wondering, is there any way you can put a search engine into the forum, so people can find topics more easily? for example, type "footwork" in and a whole load of posts pop up. + it would be easier on you, and everyone else; less searching around for your topic!

personally, i think it's a great idea because it'll save us a page to load. I've made the thing pretty small so it can fit just about anywhere. You can make it bigger or smaller as you see fit by changing the size=20 field of the text input to whatever size you want (scrolling will be enabled if you run out of space of course) and you can rename the search button of the submit input to whatever you want to shorten it. The name and font size of the search button text can also be changed by then you would have to use CSS and pre-2000 browsers do not support that.

I came across this website after I got employed in a school with six average-class courts at the hall and I have begun to play badminton again.

After a six-year hiatus, I began to have trouble hitting the shuttle properly and this brought much frustration and pain (literally as well). I was about to give it up again as I did last time (it was due to time constraint).

I stumbled across www.badmintoncentral.com when I was searching the net for 'strokes' 'techniques' etc etc.

Was stuck here ever since. Still is. Probably will still be the future.

The biggest thing that made this forum popular to me I guess the fact that you can talk just about anything; from equipments, techniques, personal preferences, events etc etc as well as some pretty interesting threads (Read : Most attractive female player ;) )

And to add up to that, you get replies, second opinions and advice when you need some. This, to me, is the fundamental basis to why the forum is so addictive.

Thus too, my passion for the game was reignited and is now burning brighter than ever!

Also, there haven't been many overzealous, racist, prejudiced etc kind of people here, so... I guess this too, helps.

Been checking this forum again and again and again and again and again...
