Hello
I don't have very big hands, really really small. About 17 centimeters from the bottom of my palm to my middle finger. But i have a G3 gripped raquet, is this too big for me that would cause me to lose power and control? and what could i do to it?

Help would be good
thanks

My hands are realllyyy small as well ... and I use G3 grip..... I've adapted to it though.......g4 makes it easier to relax hand....

You can remove the original grip the comes with the racquet and rewrap it with a thinner grip.

is G3 just the grip or the wood.

The wooden handle is bigger in G3, Grip r more or less the same in all racquets.
if u question yourself about it, then there must be something wrong. Try borrow a G4 racquet and compare the different. i always go for a small handle <G4 or G5> coz it give me more space to adjust the size. i have one G3 racquet, which i took away the original grip n placed a thin overgrip to make it smaller, size similar to my G4 racquets with 2 layer of overgrip but less comfortable

Wrap your hand around the grip with your thumb pointing upwards and you should be able to touch your palm with your fingers

My hand is 18.5 cm for the limits you give. I got a yonex G3 racquet which I took off the original leather grip. I put one thin grip slightly overlapping, and then another thin grip about 1/3 overlapping. My other racquets are G4 (all without the original grip) wrapped double layered with a thin grip and then my other thin grip again ~1/3 overlapping. I think this is a smaller size circumference.

I seen other guys use bigger grips (with same size hands) and play better than me. The size of a grip is one factor but an individual can compensate with finger technique.

If my grips were any thicker, I would only be able to fit 2 racquets in the Yonex thermal bag as opposed to the 3 that I can place in now.

hmmm 20.5 cm for me
with G3, i tape either one thick grip (pacific mastergrip) or two thin grips (rex professional comfort grip) over the original

For me, grip size is critical. I'm only comfortable with a G4.

I have small hands too!! 18 cm from middle fingertip to the wristline.... I use g3..... Took off original grip and wrapped an overgrip on handle... the grip on my ti-10 feels a bit hard though.... Some people think my grip is huge heh...
