In the Men's Singles, Andre Kurniawan Tedjono continued to struggle as he beat Anand Pawar in rubber-sets. He will face Dieter Domke in the QF tomorrow. Meanwhile, Ari Yuli Wahyu Hartanto beat Kasper Ipsen convincingly as he did not allow his opponent to score more than 9 marks :eek: Only Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka lost to Chetan Anand in rubber-set. He was leading 19-16, only to let the Indian player win 5 pts in a row to win the match! Wahyu will face Anand next.

In Men's Doubles, Fran Kurniawan/Rendra Wijaya breezed through R16 after an easy 21-11, 21-13 victory over the unknown Danish pair. They will face a tougher task in Andrew Bowman/Martyn Lewis in the QF tomorrow. With no participation from Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen, the Djarum pair is expected to win their first (and possible last) GP title on Sunday.

In the Women's Singles, only Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari progresses to the QF after an easy win over Anu Nieminen today. She will face the Indian gal Aditi Mutatkar tomorrow. Both Maria Elfira Christina and Maria Febe Kusmastuti lost today in straight sets.
