It's Wang Chen of Hong Kong.

Not sure exactly what trophy she is holding though. Is it the Uber Cup?. The words in the background are traditional chinese only used used in HK and Taiwan.

I heard a story that when HK hosted the TC/UC, some of the HK players rushed around the cup to have their photos taken with it. It would be the only time they would have been so close to the cups!! I wonder if this is part of that scene.

On the other hand, it could have been in the 96 UC. Wang Chen was still part of the China Team.

may be a local tournament? size of the cup doesn't always correspond to the prestige. that isn't the Uber Cup..

No she is a Danish sup-top (doubles) player.. She is mainly playing in the EBU-circuit. ( like me)

I think Harriett Johnson (England) is cute too. I think she's playing on the EBU circuit too. That's one of the advantage of living in Europe is that you can play on the EBU circuit whereas for folks in N. Am., there's nothing like it at all.
