LL 17-14.
Hard for Maria to win now.
This has been her problem in her matches against Lu Lan.....leading yet could not finish the opponent off. Ended up losing.....
Felix.

Maria is still stuck at 14.
LL takes 5 points in a row 19-14.

It's going to be another nail-biting finale as Lu Lan levels the score now...and overtakes Maria 14-13.
Nail biting finale? don't think so. LL wrap it up with quickly in last few minutes

It's the same old story for Maria Kristin Yulianti....leading in all three-sets, only to lose the match in rubber-set 16-21, that's after taking a 10-5 lead before the interval. She needs to really learn how to maintain a lead and close the match!
Felix.

It's over, Maria lost 19-21 21-12 16-21. Could have closed it in two but as always, Maria didn't get the job done. Oh well, moving on to the next tourney.

So, that's the same old story we are talking about here.....she was leading 19-18 before she lost the first set 19-21. She also led as much as 5 pts in the rubber-set, again, only to lose it.
Next week, yet another early encounter with Zhu Lin and I fear she will lose early too......

Really? I think LYB still put her in National Team at least until next year since he has no choice up to Wang Lin or Wang Yihan are really steady. XXF is almost loose her motivation and passion to play badminton after her lost at OG. LL is also not stable as ZN or Gong Zhi Chao, she sometimes can loose from MKY or TR.

What a pleasant surprise..Nitya Krishinda/Greysia Polii upsetted Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei in straight sets 21-15, 21-16  The winners of 3 consecutive titles out in their first outing...hmmm......this should confirm Nitya/Grace's potential. Kinda exciting.....since both are very young...much better potential than Vita/Butet IMHO. Nitya/Grace will face a winnable tie against Helle Nielsen/Marie Roepke for a place in the last 4.
Meanwhile, Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki beat another Danish pair in straight-sets also 21-12, 21-17. Scoreline is actually similar to the the previous day's....spooky  A consolation is that Rian/Yoke will now face a new pair Fu Haifeng/Shen Ye, instead of the Danish foe they haven't beaten so far.
