I was just reading the post under "Places to Play" where someone was asking about where to play in Washington DC, and a crazy thought came to me.
President Bush recently had a White House 3-mile race with his staff. He didn't win, but apparently he's in pretty good shape--probably better than Clinton. Many past US Presidents have had their favorite sports--Eisenhower played golf all the time, Nixon had bowling lanes set up in the White House, and Carter was also a runner. WHAT IF G. W. Bush played badminton, and had a gym built on the White House grounds? He could invite media members, White House staff, members of congress, etc. to a tournament. Maybe even get visiting officials from other countries (e.g., China) to play. They would call it "Shuttlecock Diplomacy." It would increase public awareness of badminton.:D
