Jack Purcell?

I searched badminton shoes on Zappos and the two shoes to come up were Nike and Jack Purcell. Is Jack Purcell still designed for badminton?

Jack Purcell is a series name of Converse shoes...Converse All Star, One Star, Jack Purcell....etc...it's not designed for badminton but you can wear any Converse shoes for badminton as well...

Jack Pucell's aren't badminton shoes. Good badminton shoes have gum soles. A good badminton shoe is an important piece of equipment and can help you to move, stop and even play better. I suggest you look elsewhere.

They are actually designed for badminton...in 1935! Jack Purcell was a Canadian badminton player who was considered the world champion of that era.

These would probably work for badminton but I think those who buy Jack Purcell's do so to look cool. (and probably don't know who Mr. Purcell was or what badminton is all about).

Jack Purcell's are not exactly cheap you can find a lot of other choices in this price range.
