I can't speak for the other moderators but here's my take on this:
I oppose banning anyone for holding a view another doesn't like or agree with. If not, there would be only Republicans or Democrats, but not both.
For instance, we encounter a great many people who carelessly declare that badminton is for sissies. Well, I couldn't disagree more... but, even so, I would agree that he is entitled to his view.
I'm merely echoing what someone said a long time ago (and, no, it wasn't Voltaire): “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend your right to say it.”
d65up2 is treading a fine line here... but I don't see his posts as obscene, derogatory, insulting or personal. At least, not yet ;)
The best response to views we can't endorse or tolerate is to ignore them.
Responding or even attending to it only feeds the mouth it came from :)
I totally do not agree what you say.
You do not feel a thing because it is not your country that is targeted at. In fact I think his post is insensitive, provocating and absolutely insulting. Even his/her own Indonesian comrade repremand this fella can't you see?
A few months ago Vching has pm me about suggesting banning d65up2 for exactly the same reason at that time. That is d65up2 brought up nothing in a thread and talk about hatre that's targeting Malaysia and Malaysian players. But I have suggested to him to ignore him at that time. you see we have tried to be a big person but there is a limit to being a big person.
In this case it is clearly not a issue of banning anyone disagree with another person. This is clearly a issue of hatre and insult. Many forumers can clearly see it. Look at some thread that's repremanding d65up2. tTey can clearly see there are strong hatre. Even indonesian supporters agree with it. Why can't you?
Arguing an objective arguement like badminton is for sissies is totally different from saying" Singaporeon play badminton like sissies particularly oldhand". You see the different? IF I were to constantly provake and insult Singaporean that way would you stay mum? Would you feel hurt? And you won't fight back? In this issue there is nation pride involve. Do not take it like lightly. In fact Malaysian forumers should be highly regarded for responding so maturely and do not fire salvo at all Indonesian. We all know it is this insensitive moron that's creating all the trouble for all of us.
We want d65up2 out and we think it is a very just request. I urge kwun and all forumers to act immediately. For you oldhand, I especially urge you to be sensitive to other people's pride. You fail to see this is not an issue of agreeing or disagreeing a debate. You guys have been great in creating a great place with a good objective, that is to bring the best out of badminton. A sport we all love. Be carefull not to let a few insensitive fellas and your own slopyness ruin the place. High quality people with good self esteem will not come in if they see this is a place where low characters are free to throw mud around.
I urge you to ban d65up2 immediately for the good of this forum.

Congratulations to Peter Gade as he wins yet another Super Series title, which makes it 2 in a row now. Taufik has a chance to nail it down in the second set, with 4 more pts to go at 17-17, but, Gade proves to be the stronger.

When you are a top player like these two I dont think you let someone "take" a game because that could result in a defeat. These two players are just very close in both level of play and plays close to a similar game with very fine footwork, deception and maybe the best technique seen around.

Both players deserve a standing ovation for providing a great match....(at least until set 2). The rubber-set was basically a walkover as Taufik was totally spent.
But, really, both players put their heart out for a classic match! Taufik Hidayat should be proud for proving to us that he still is to be counted as a great player!
As for Peter Gade, who can ever think that he can win back-to-back Super Series titles after the Beijing Olympics  I believe these victories have solidified his intention of winning the All-England or World Championships title next year!
With Lin Dan probably no longer in the mood to compete in as many tourneys, and Chen Jin + Bao Chunlai still not in solid form, Peter Gade could just be one of the few players who will be in contention for those big titles.

The ones who will be in contention for the AE and World Championships:
(1) Lin Dan -- obviously
(2) Chen Jin -- lost twice to Peter Gade in the past 2 weeks.
(3) Bao Chunlai -- I don't think he can win these 2 biggies.
(4) Sony Dwi Kuncoro -- injury prone, so, we shall see
(5) Lee Chong Wei -- the burden of being World No 1 is too much for him.
(6) Taufik Hidayat -- small chance, but, who knows....
(7) Park Sung Hwan -- yet to see him since the Beijing Olympics....
(8) Simon Santoso -- slim chance, but, he still has a few good years of badminton in him.
(9) Joachim Persson -- starts to impress, but need more victories over the above players.

Brilliant match!! But it looks like FIVE three setters in a row finally caught up to Taufik. He was gracious in defeat, great to see :). And Peter was really amazing! Once he'd found his game he got back just about everything Taufik threw at him. Unlike LCW yesterday, when Taufik's smashes were a big weapon for him. He definitely ran out of steam though. He needs a good rest :).

Depends on whether the umpire can pass Yu Yang's umpire test:delay tactics. She would ask for a break during opponents serve(against the rule) and if not granted, she will point to the floor to be wiped. She's the umpire's boss but very few umpires are aware they have been twirled by her.Only Jane Hancock of the AE fame saw through her guile;that's why she lost in AE08.When Lady Jane said no to her too many times,YY lost her direction and the match.

The one thing that bothers me most is his constant annoying and repeated negative vibe/posts (it's almost like asking "Don't you have enough negative posts already?":().
