I hope this is in the right forum.
Anyways, I bought a racket from Tad's. So I was wondering, if I was disatisfied with the racket, am I allowed to exchange for a different racket?
And my other question is, if my racket some how snaps (like at the head), do they allow you to return it and exchange for the same model?

sorry if i LOL, i see alot of first time buyer get the 9000x, thinking it is the top model so it is the best. I see so many young kids playing with 9000x. Reality, it is the worst racket for them :p

My parents went out to buy the NS9KX when I wanted the 9KS instead. Just worried in case it's too much for me or about the countless stories I hear about the Nanospeeds being snapped at the head and such.
Don't worry, it's not my first racket lol~

Don't worry, it's not my first racket lol~that is alway the danger of letting ur relatives or parent to buy rackets under their presumption.

Ya. I told them but they decided to listen to the person working at Tad's since he's more experienced. But my parents don't know my style of play. Plus, I was at school when they went out to buy it.:(

if I were you, maybe take it back and see if they'll let you exchange it for a type-S before you open or play with it.

I'm thinking about that, but I really want to know what their store policy is if the racket brakes and if you want to switch to a different model.

1. It's best to contact the store directly, to ask about the return / exchange policy. We are not the store owner, so we can't speak for them.

2. If the racket is not used (original pack with original seal, etc), the chance you can get exchange is high, but you may need to pay extra for the re-string, etc

3. Depend on how the racket is damaged. If clearly a manufacture default or stringer's fault, they should be able to help you for RMA. However, if it's your own fault (i.e. clash the racket in game, use it as a tennis racket, bump on the floor, etc), then, they (and Yonex CAN) have every right to refuse your request.

Thanks for the answer :)
Also, does the package include the plastic on the grip?

If the racket breaks due to a manufacturer defect it will be replaced under the warranty. If breakages were due to physical damage, which voids the warrenty can be determined by Yonex during the claim process - however it is up to Yonex's discretion if they want to replace it in these cases.

For new rackets, the factory plastic seal is on the handle. If you haven't used it, you should be able to exchange it since it was obtained from the store.

Have a chat with Gary for more information.

hm, doesn't the stores consider the racket "second hand" if it has already been strung?

i know in TW, they will hold your racket and look for potential buyers for you.

but, they give no promises until the racket is sold and at that time, you can exchange for the other model, add money for higher model, get lower model + money

not sure about tad's though.....
